GOP Silent on Prop 8

Well, its not a particularly courageous stance. Considering that lives are at stake, as opposed to budgets, assets, city planning, etc., I question all pro-choicers who claim to view abortion as wrong as lying to themselves, or their audience. That is all.

Well heck, I question the same about those who supported the Iraq War... :cof1:

Okay, I support the option of war as a means to defend our nation and sovereignty. Specific wars I will oppose, if they contain an agenda (such as Mexican War and Manifest Destiny, Spanish-American and yellow journalism and nationalism, WWI and Iraq for Wilsonian Idealism) or are ineptly prosecuted (1812, Vietnam, Iraq under Rumsfeld and his 1/2 force strategy).

IMO the vast majority of libs are not hugging Obama for following or accelerating bush polices. But along those lines, why aren't conservatives hugging him for doing so?

You're kidding. I could have sworn that they had.

Your question seems to be a very good question though.

I'd say,,, that most,,, may just do what they're told.

imo you are wrong

i used to be a libertarian but got a conscience

i am a social progressive and a fiscal conservative

You're a, "vote yourself money" kind of person in my opinion.

I choose to keep my money, and my conscience.

And I'm the oppisite of a social progressive.

Compared to me, you're a flaming Marxist on fiscal matters. Nothing personal though.

Hell, compared to me, Grind is a gang-banging rapist. Nothing personal, though.

reminds me a bit of my younger hippie years when a guy called me that dirty hippie commie anarchist - i guess he was having a bad day

as for 'voting myself money', i started in computers in 63 and retired a few years ago - so i think i earned my money as a career software/hardware professional

i also, believe in a social safety net
