GOP senators, led by Cruz, to object to Electoral College certification

or not. we'll just do the process. mmmmmkay? thaaaaaanks.

They will be voted down just like they were in previous years. The objections have to be approved by both houses. Since the Democrats have a majority in the House they will not approve the objection.

It is just a waste of time for some members to get some publicity and avoid a primary opponent.

we'll see, nostradamus.

Did you say that when DEMOCRATS objected to the results of the 2000, 2008, and 2016 elections?

Give it up "copy and paste," you've floated the same "whataboutism" on three different threads, apples and oranges, as has been explained to you every time you regurgitate the same

But the scary part is that if the House at this particular moment in time were not Democrat Trump may have been able to pull it off, basically, making himself President for life

So you were silent when DEMOCRATS objected to the results of the 2000, 2008, and 2016 elections.

You think a successful motion to refuse to certify one election means the 22nd Amendment is suspended?

I bet the Senate does not approve the objections, either. Objections don't necessarily change anything. I don't think most House members would vote to reject the popular vote of their state.

The president and his supporters have the right to be angry and voice their objections.

It might not do much to stop Biden from assuming the presidency, but the mere notion of objecting to results, especially in states where funny business (like using the courts to suspend election laws) happened isn’t anti-democratic or damaging at all.

There should be congressional investigations, but we can’t do much unless the GOP retakes the House in 2022.

In the meantime, Trump can and should get a special counsel investigation moving to get things moving.

If DEMOCRATS don’t like it--tough.

I didn’t like them dragging the nation on a baseless witch hunt concerning Russia.

And the Dems will lose the house with the thin margin they now have due to their incompetency, complacency and corporate bribery corruption, but its the people who will suffer when the next Fascist prick like Trump rises.

Given Trump's total disregard for anything, yes, he would without a doubt do anything he could to maintain the Presidency, and individuals as yourself would rationalize a way to agree with him 100%

No, they aren't going to, never were, only the dozen or so Senators kissing Trump's ass will vote that way, the whole charade is appease Trump
