That's interesting cawacko. I really don't think this is true. I've definitely worked with guys who were screwing around with someone who I think was objectively less conventionally attractive than their wives. I've known guys who had beautiful wives and they were screwing around.

I think the reasons for cheating are so complex, and so varied, that it's really hard to say and very easy to oversimplify.

Great post, christie. He is a predator. This is typical of predators. They have a keen scent for the vulnerable. He is a serial womanizer. He is arrogant enough to believe that he wouldn't be caught and if he was caught the women he associated with would not be believed.

He is a creep. I feel bad for his wife and family, how embarrassing. She will now have to decide if she wants to stay with him. He is returning home on Friday, to talk to the wife. If I were her, I would tell Herman he is done. Then, depending on his contrition, I would decide whether to stay or go. I would probably go after all the public humiliation. His knowing his past and being so smug as to think it wouldn't come out in his Presidential run would be infuriating to me. He has no respect for his wife, in my opinion, not to speak of the violation of trust. When trust is lost, generally, so is the marriage.
