Server Dayna Morales has been suspended by her Bridgewater restaurant employers pending completion of their investigation of allegations that she falsified a story about a customer leaving her an anti-gay message in lieu of a tip.

“Ms. Morales is currently not on our employee schedule while we are still working to complete our investigation,” the Gallop Asian Bistro restaurant posted on its Facebook page.

Morales, age 22, promoted the fake receipt with the comment “Have a Gay Day” and now comes under fire because of her track record of dishonesty. NBC 4 New York now reports she was dishonorably discharged from the Marines last spring after she stopped showing up, NBC 4 New York has learned. Her co-workers are reportedly saying she’s a constant liar.

“Every story she comes up with has a lie,” one said.

A woman who served with Morales told NBC 4 New York that the commitment is a serious one.

“I wouldn’t want anyone to think she was a part of my Marine Corps family, because she’s not,” said the woman, who asked to remain anonymous because she is still on active duty.

Others who say they knew her tell NBC 4 New York there were things about her background that didn’t seem to add up.

A woman who says she and Morales worked together at a Cheesecake Factory in Nyack, N.Y., last year said Morales told coworkers she had brain cancer.

“She came in with her hair shaved because she wanted to shave it herself before she lost it,” said Jacqie Fitzpatrick.

As of today the investigation's still ongoing and nothing's been proven. What happened to your George Zimmerman defense of "innocent until proven guilty"?

Ahhhh George Zimmerman at least involved the death of a human being.

I am yet to see anybody explain to me how an alleged non threatening note to a troublemaking dyke extortionist consequates a crime, either a felony or at least a misdemeanor.

Its not a criminal investigation being done the authorities, the restaurant itself is doing it, which means they are doing nothing and hoping this story and the liar will both go away. In the real world, everyone else has moved on and decided she is a liar, just like Obama.

While I leave open the very slight possibility that someone at her work was screwing with her, I would say her past behavior, the customers receipt, the customers credit card statement and her deer in headlights response after being busted, she is the most likely person at this point to have perpetrated this falsehood.

If she's a waitress then she's writing down orders. Yet neither the restaurant or anybody else has come out and stated that the handwriting on the receipt was Dayna's. I've been saying that all along, why isn't handwriting being checked?

It's all over the internet. They could look at what's on the FB page. Example, if Dayna writes large and backhand and the receipt writing is small and forward moving, there's an immediate discrepancy.

The family's trying to say they didn't write the numbers based only on how the "5" was written, yet nobody can make the same determination about the racist writing? It's one of the reasons why I think someone else wrote it.
