It was a BLANKET PARDON. Close to 1,600 people. Even the guy you mentioned was PARDONED. If he remains in jail on other charges, it has nothing to do w/ the fact that it was a BLANKET PARDON.

Oh, and a quick search reveals that they have STOPPED pursuing convictions related to J6.

Trump pardoned virtually every single person who was convicted, without distinguishing between violent & non-violent offenses.

What's the difference if they stopped pursuing convictions?

What even is your point? Weak tea. Your defenses of Trump are just getting more watered down. I've seen many on the right express discomfort (at minimum) for the blanket nature of the pardons. You are firmly in the right-wing MAGA group to even try to defend them.

And you're lecturing me on being a "centrist." True partisans project a lot. Most of the time, they can't really comprehend a more centrist position on things, which is why some MAGA's call anyone who isn't MAGA a "leftist."

I had two points

one guy said the pardon includes those not yet named. It does not. I provided the text to prove it

another guy - you - said "no matter what they did on J6." I pointed out that a guy pardoned for this remains in jail because he also was guilty of being a felon with a gun. so you also were wrong. the charges had to be related to the events of January 6th - rioting and breaking in. destroying property. etc, etc. Sure - "the events of" is somewhat generic - but the gun charge guy proves it isn't a complete blanket as you claimed

you both were utterly destroyed here - and lack integrity to admit it "centrist" LMFAO. center yourself around the truth for a change.

Re: the bolded - he's in jail on an unrelated charge. I wasn't wrong. This discussion was about J6 specifically.

And I don't even have to say this - you MUST realize how lame it is to point to one guy when over 1,500 were pardoned.

You simply can't admit to being wrong. It's the era we're in.
