Funniest lie JPP leftists believed about Trump and Jan 6

Re: the bolded - he's in jail on an unrelated charge. I wasn't wrong. This discussion was about J6 specifically.

the discussion was a compare and contrast to Biden's blanket pardon

If this was the Biden Pardon - it covered a decade of time for any charge including the gun charge

the gun charge was not covered here because it was specific to the riot and only during the riot

a true independent - and there are millions - see what Biden did as much more of a violation of the presidential pardon.

Trump ran on his pardon plan - and the voters won.

Biden claimed he would do the opposite until he no longer was running

centrist my ass dude. give it up

The bolded is detached from reality.

Derp away.

pardon family members for decades of activity regardless of what the activity actually is after running on a campaign that this is not what he plans on doing.

vs

pardon people that for the very crimes you said you would pardon them for while running for office

CENTRIST MY ASS

projection. voters had knowledge of what trump was planning

Show me the quote from the campaign where he said that he intended to issue a blanket pardon.

And regardless, "voters" were concerned about inflation, woke & other stuff. I don't think every single voter for Trump endorsed a blanket pardon.

You're all over the place. And I have no concerns at all about proving my "centrist" credentials to someone who is entrenched on the right wing and can literally never see an issue objectively.

You need to admit you were wrong about the blanket pardon. Enough with chasing your lies and mistakes all over the place

you never challenge the left - and when someone that only follows the facts show you that you have it wrong, you refuse to admit it

John Banuelos - explain why he is in jail if the blanket pardon you claimed happened

You probably only see things through a partisan filter. I mean, I started a thread a couple of weeks ago titled "I am Charlie Kirk."

And I don't have to "argue for the right" to prove that I'm a centrist. The "right" at the moment is Trump & MAGA. I was a Kasich guy, who I know many MAGA's think is some sort of "RINO'' now, even though he was a key player in the Republican Revolution of the '90s and is a staunch conservative.
No you just have to argue for both sides to be in the center. The VAST MAJORITY of the time you argue for the left. How many times have you voted Republican vs how many times have you voted Democrat?

Yep - no quote.

I knew there wasn't one. When he spoke about pardons in the campaign, he was vague about who from J6. He never said a blanket pardon.

Why am I jumping through hoops trying to prove my cred to a hardcore partisan who never even considers the other side?

I have argued for conservative positions - but not for MAGA, and not for Trump. And that's what the "right" is now. I also don't argue for too many left positions. My primary one there is the environment, but I disagree w/ what the left has become and what woke has come to represent.

Again - I started a thread titled "I am Charlie Kirk." Show me something similar you have posted, and we can talk.

Last time I voted Dem was 2008. Voted 3rd party since then. Kasich was my guy in '16, but he somehow became a RINO to many MAGA's. That's where the party is now. One of the authors of the Republican Revolution of the '90s is "RINO."

blanket pardon = not naming names.

preemptive pardon = not naming the crimes.

I care more about what Biden did. you seem stuck on not wanting to compare and contrast this

  • In Conroe, Texas, January 30, 2022 (at a rally):

“If I run and if I win, we will treat those people from January 6th fairly. And if it requires pardons, we will give them pardons because they are being treated so unfairly.” CBS News+1
  • At another rally (quoted in Reuters, January 2022):

“Another thing we’ll do … if I run and if I win, we will treat those people from Jan. 6 fairly. We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons we will give them pardons. Because they are being treated so unfairly.” Reuters
  • In November 2022 (pre-midterms), Trump said at a rally:

“Let them all go now!” (referring to people arrested in connection with Jan. 6) CBS News+1
  • In December 2024 (post-election, appearing in interviews / on his platform):

“First day. Yeah, I'm looking for these pardons.” (referring to those jailed for their role on Jan. 6) ABC News

So you voted for Obama? Nuff said

Biden repeatedly said he wouldn’t pardon his son before ultimately doing so. Here are clear, on-the-record examples (with dates ):

  • June 6, 2024 – ABC News interview (Normandy, France): Asked if he would rule out pardoning Hunter, Biden answered “Yes.” Reuters
  • June 6, 2024 – Politico write-up of the same interview: Headline summary: “Biden says he won’t pardon son Hunter.” Politico
  • June 7, 2024 – The Guardian: “Joe Biden stated he will not pardon his son Hunter if convicted in his federal gun trial.” (Story quotes him on not pardoning.) The Guardian
  • June 13, 2024 – Reuters video clip: “U.S. President Joe Biden said… he would not pardon his son Hunter.” Reuters
  • July 2024 – White House briefing (press secretary): Karine Jean-Pierre: “It’s still a no. It will be a no.” (On whether Biden would pardon/commute Hunter.)

So how many Republicans have you voted for since 2008? Megyn Kelly voted for Trump

Am I trying to prove I'm a Republican?

Just quit while you're way behind. Voting Dem at some point in a person's history doesn't make them a "leftist." That's a total clown take.

I corrected my post, btw. Kelly didn't say '08 specifically, but I remember on one of her shows she had a pretty even split between Dem & Republican until the last few elections. She's gone hardcore right now. People change as they get older, and more importantly - as the parties change.

The Dem party has changed a bit in the past 15 years or so....no?

So Megyn Kelly evolving in her political views somehow proves you aren't on the left? I don't think so.

I'm not trying to prove I'm on the left. I'm showing that a vote years ago doesn't determine one's political stance for life.

You're lowering my IQ with this discussion. You lost, a few posts ago. Sorry. Maybe next time.

you can't. it is so transparent

I can think of only two clear cut examples of the preemptive pardon - Richard Nixon was pardoned for any crime he may of committed and now Joe Biden included his crime family in this super rare occurrence

but the "centrist" had no issues or complaints
