My take is that Democrats would welcome a new government program to improve mental health. Improving education would be a big help, too. Naturally, tax the rich to initially pay for it, but I suspect it would pay for itself in the long run with a safer more productive nation.

Stupidity and mental instability cost us dearly.

Sure they would....when they get to it. Right now it's waaaaay down their list of priorities. The Republicans want it too....but it's even further down their list than the Democrats. LOL

She welcomed reasonable and fair Republicans onto the committee. She preferred and was willing to let an independent 911-style commission do the investigation, but Republicans blocked it because they don't want the truth uncovered. Several of the objecting Republicans sought pardons. That implies they felt they had committed crimes.

The Republican narrative is flimsy. It rests on thin ice, and when it crashes through, some people will be in hot, not cold, water.

The nation is wondering what it will take before the DOJ either charges Trump and others or undertakes an investigation.

Trump is looking very guilty.

The unmistakable impression from the first hearing is this:

"Trump did it."
