Fort Hood: 12 Dead 31 Injured

Holy shit I haven't visited in several months and this is the first post I see? lol nice to see Dixie still providing the luls but I'd have never predicted she'd have fallen this far.

The only people to blame for this is the shooter and his shit religion. Military should investigate everyone in the military suspected of being a muslim and boot their asses out. It is a choice afterall and not a race or sex.

Which would violate the 1st amendment...

Uhhh Low I know you're taking about me so I'll take a stab at a few things you've raised. Where do my tattoos display any form of violence? And where do I state that I approved of actions taking by the IRA? I will give you I support the spirit of Irish unity and independence, but beyond that you're either woefully ignorant or trying to say something behind my back.

Sorry buddy, but if you have tattoos of guns on your arms you are advertising your underlying violence and hatred of a relationship of which you are almost totally ignorant. If you cannot see that then I'm genuinely sorry for you.
There is very little difference between tattoos which are obviously hate inspired and clothing which is designed to make a similar statement.
But what would you have done if your government had backed the British troops against the IRA terrorists? Would you have gone prepared to kill them - shamrocks and all?? would you?
I'm sure the killer didnt necessarily support muslim terrorism but there was no way he dared kill the people he saw as his brethren.

Then you have absolutely no understanding of the person you are talking to you. I've explained them to you before and you choose the ignore that. But since you posed the question then I'll answer. Though I am no longer a active service member, if I were sent to Ireland and had to kill IRA members, then I would do so. While I support their spirit of independence, I disagree with their choice in methods and thus they are not doing the cause any good.

OK we'll accept that. Clearly Mr. whatever-his-name-is thought differently.

Back to the tattoos for a moment, it really doesnt matter what YOU think they stand for. In the civilised world guns are weapons of violence and ordinary, law abiding people would be unlikely to flaunt representations of them on their bodies. It may be fine in Alabama or whever you hail from but most people I know would be repelled.
The fact that no one commented on your trip to Ireland was probably the Irish quiet acceptance of foreigners as rather simple folk who know no better!

Deal.

Since they are on my body, and were my choice, I'm pretty sure what I think has A LOT to do with it.

Not so here in America. I'm not even out of the ordinary, especially within my group of friends and about 85% of enlisted veterans (officers have much stricter rules regarding tattoos)

It's fine where ever I go, especially since I hail from Detroit Michigan.
but most people I know would be repelled.
All that I've shown them to were impressed by the skill of the artist, so perhaps you should expand your circle of friends

Did I say no one commented? (Seriously, did I? If so I am in error). Not many people saw them, as I do tend to wear sleeves most places, where my only visible tattoo is the letters RKBA. Those that did see naturally inquired and I explained, and they were quite satisfied with the explanation. All they are is different representations of heritage and culture, yet you try to make it out as something far grander and more insidious.

Your assertion is that a Psychiatrist's job, is to kill people?? :palm:

Of course it is. Well, it is their job to kill personalities. Too bad. If I remember correctly, you are among their number, while in a rather minor role.

You have forgotten.

Please, Freedom, learn to use commas correctly.
