Fort Hood: 12 Dead 31 Injured

Dixie and all the other willfully ignorant neocon parrots screeched loudly against ANY criticism of how the Shrub, Cheney and Rumsfeld set up and handled our military in Afghanistan and Iraq. Stay the course, they squawked...all is well!

Well, now that Afghanistan is not working out well...suddenly it's Obama's fault because he's not following the EXACT same tactics that got things fucked up in the first place. In other words....he wants to know the who, what, where, how and why's before he signs off on more people dying and killing. So he listens to ALL the military on the ground, etc. Yep, the Commander in Chief is doing his job, so we won't have a repeat of the bullshit that went down in Iraq. Instead, he's trying to have a coherent plan BEFORE sending in more troops.

McChrystal tried to do an end run, and got snapped back into place. Someone should have clued him in that if Afghanistan does not have any type of decent gov't structure, then the US is nothing more than an occupying army of a foreign nation. So more troops isn't the ONLY solution.

But what's truly amazing is how these slavering arm chair warriors blame Obama for a guy going nuts on an army base. This war was started by the Shrub and company, and thanks to their criminal incompetence and negligence, you have a mess in Afghanistan and one simmering (again) in Iraq. Dixie says quicker deployment would save the day? Guess what numbnuts? Hasan was having problems LONG before Obama cooled McChrystal's heels...the system at Ft. Hood should have taken him out of service LONG time ago...but thanks to a shortage of qualified officers and personal across the board (gee, could that be because we don't have a draft to cover the missions properly? Guess Rummy's claims that volunteerism and back door draft of the National Guard has it covered were wrong), Hasan was kept on....and tragedy followed.

But neocon parrots just follow the lead of the official policy and the flailing neocon factions of the GOP party.....get Obama at any cost. And if that leads to blaming him for a rainy day, so be it.

I don't like pc either, I am a MAC person. The Big Mac, the dude and I love the McKinley Mac, but the stupid McDonald's place didn't even know that Alaskans call it Denali, so I was about ready to propose a bill to change the name, but then things got complicated and I had to quit and go rogue.

Let's get something clear you little empty-headed twit... I didn't say Obama was to blame for this! The ONLY one to blame is the guy who was pulling the trigger! Does Obama bear SOME responsibility for hem-hawing around on what to do in Afghanistan? I think he does! I think this is a PRIME example of what happens when your leader sits on his ass and becomes indecisive regarding people's lives.

You are such a dishonest hack.

"Blood on Obama's hands, if you ask me."

Please, dear ditzie... explain how that isn't blaming Obama...

Bottom line, this shooting has NOTHING to do with Obama's indecision on Afghanistan. Nothing.

Thanks for posting my exact words and showing that nowhere did I ever say Obama was to blame. It takes a big man to admit he has told a flat out lie, I appreciate you coming clean on that.

"Blood on Obama's hands, if you ask me."

Again, from your FIRST post. You dishonest hack.

Under what circumstances, exactly?

Like...when he decided to invade a country?

Did you mean he and those pesky liberals you support in Congress, and who are still in Congress?

Now I will sit back and watch the same tired shit that has been trotted out these last nine years and shake my head wondering when you guys are going to get a new schtick.

So how's that Change going for you so far? Anything you can believe in?

:lmao:

Oh, yeah - I remember that day, when the libs in Congress & Bush got together at the White House w/ PNAC and Cheney, and mapped out the invasion of Iraq.

Good call, there....

Right. It had everything to do with the fact that he was a G-Damned psychiatrist! Those people are f*cking CRAZY!

I think it is clear that everyone wants simple answers. In my experience life offers very few of them.
This man, at some point in his life, chose to live an overt (wearing the clothes of his country people in a society that doesn't) muslim life. No clear cut problem thus far.
Had he been sent to fight a war in Africa or South America I think all would have been well. But having supported, by his oath of allegiance, his country's policy against terrorism both at home and abroad, he was suddenly faced with the possibility of killing people of the faith he revered.
A terrible choice. Do I kill the people of my families culture or take myself out of the equation completely. That is what he was doing, the lives of American soldiers were a bonus. A bonus that would earn him brownie points amongst the culture for which he craved.
Of course that is just my opinion but I am sure that simplistic answers are more likely to be wrong than right.
Remember the misguided loyalties of Americans who believed themselves to be Irish and freely gave to Noraid? Remember one poster here who proudly displays tattos of violence in the mistaken belief that violence in Ireland was right and just. Would he accept a posting with the US army to Belfast to kill Irish terrorists?

So you're professing that a psychatrist may have to kill people??

Is this the same problem for those in the Medical profession??

Uhhh Low I know you're taking about me so I'll take a stab at a few things you've raised. Where do my tattoos display any form of violence? And where do I state that I approved of actions taking by the IRA? I will give you I support the spirit of Irish unity and independence, but beyond that you're either woefully ignorant or trying to say something behind my back.

Holy shit I haven't visited in several months and this is the first post I see? lol nice to see Dixie still providing the luls but I'd have never predicted she'd have fallen this far.

The only people to blame for this is the shooter and his shit religion. Military should investigate everyone in the military suspected of being a muslim and boot their asses out. It is a choice afterall and not a race or sex.
