Are you saying that the elected officials currently in power, and those in 1998 when those safety measures were supposed to be installed, had no urge to police this industry? I'm sorry, it is the Executive who has the power to police... It's unfortunate that your heroes have such obvious feet of clay.And if we had elected people who desired to actually police this industry instead of not inforcing the exsisting laws then maybe it would have worked out better.
