Florida principal fired after Students are shown a photo of Michelangelo's statue of David.

From the story: said:
The now-former principal, Hope Carrasquilla, told HuffPost the situation was also “a little more complicated than that,” noting that the usual protocol is to send parents a letter before students are shown such classical artwork.

Due to “a series of miscommunications,” the letter did not go out to the sixth-grade parents, and some complained, Carrasquilla said.

So, protocol was not followed. Interesting that even the Principal noted that this wasn't all there was to your story. Also interesting that this was a charter school specifically founded to avoid this kind of thing. Also not mentioned in your OP.

Any parent who sends a child to this school should be convicted of child abuse. This motherfucker is the chair of a school board that oversees a school that he claims teaches "a traditional, Western civilization, liberal classical education." Yet he doesn't know what any of those words mean. Put all the children of conservatives into charter schools administered by high school dropouts. Darwinism continues to work from COVID to anti-woke rants. American conservatism is dead.

INTERVIEWER: I tend to think of a classical education as being the mode in the 17th, 18th century, where you study the Greeks and Romans, and Western civilization is central. A tutor or teacher is the expert, and that teacher drives the curriculum. You’re describing something where it seems the parents drive the curriculum. How does your classical education differ from the classical education as I think of it?

SCHOOL BOARD CHAIR: What kind of question is that, Dan? I don’t know how they taught in the 17th, 18th century, and neither do you. You live in New York?

INTERVIEWER: Virginia.

SCHOOL BOARD CHAIR: You’ve got a 212 number. That’s New York.

INTERVIEWER: I lived in New York when I got the cellphone, many years ago. Now I live in Virginia.

That's what happens when hate Nazi book burners get any power at all. They are the lowest form of humanity.[/QUOTE
Books are still available, just not in young children’s school libraries.

Do you want porn in young children’s school libraries?

“Book burning” is a default position for the far left loons when they have nothing. No books have been burned.

Just like pushing grandma in a wheelchair, off the cliff.

And the above is what happens when the radical Left gets any amount of pushback however justified it may or may not be, and however slight, to their ideas...

Think there might be more to the story? Have you moved out of DeSantisland yet?

It's from Huffing Glue - ZERO chance it is factual or accurate.

Since this is the level of garbage defamation we get from the democrats every day, I'm not willing to research and expose where they lied - but we all know they did lie.

Something tells me that "poor people" is a dog whistle for "non-white people," esp. since he had to add "It's not just rich WHITE people."

And to answer your question, no, it is hard to see how he could get more offensive.
Don't worry Poor kids are as smart as White kids. BTW I'm pretty sure there were lots of poor white kids where I grew up and still are.

Oh for crying out loud. I remember looking at that when I was in grade school. We had a set of Encyclopedia Britannica that had lots of photos of classical sculpture and art. There were breasts and packages and behinds galore.

When you were in school, National Geographic had naked women from the Amazon and Africa in it. We have become more prude about nudity in society.

Now I don't believe anything from the OP or from Huffing Glue - these are partisans with no reputation for integrity. There is no chance at all that this is as presented.

Indeed, TOP,

“On Thursday, the Tallahassee Democrat reported that the principal of a local charter school, the Tallahassee Classical School, was forced to resign after three parents complained about an art teacher showing a picture of Michelangelo’s 16th-century sculpture of David. “Parental rights are supreme, and that means protecting the interests of all parents, whether it’s one, 10, 20 or 50,” the chair of the school’s board, Barney Bishop III, told the paper. To figure out exactly how this happened, I called Bishop, who is also, according to his biography, a consultant, a lobbyist, an “outspoken advocate for the free enterprise system,” and an Eagle Scout. Our conversation has been edited for clarity.”

Indeed what? The school board chair alluded to other secret allegations against the principal but didn't elaborate on any of them.

Did you read the entire interview? The chair is a MAGA moron who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near children. He's running the school as an anti-woke barnyard for the disadvantaged children of mentally deficient parents.

What is it with these far left, perverted loons wanting to show genitalia to six year olds?

Sixth grade, you fucking idiot. That would be ages 11-12. And to those of us who aren't incels and appreciate art's intentionality, the statue is not about the dick that's emblazoned in your defective brain. It is a spectacular piece of masterwork that took three years to perfect. It might be the greatest marble statue that still exists. And all you can see is cock and balls.
