It’s a commonly used phrase. Like I told my wife, they (the media) are looking for any thing to give them (liberals) an advantage in the election [in Florida]...and the sad part of it is he could have used the F-word or the D-word in that context and there would have been less feigned outrage by the media.
One of my fishing buddies is black. I was waiting on him to get in the truck so we could leave one morning. He was fiddling with an obviously broken reel. I said, “How long you plan on monkeying around with that reel, boy.” Neither of us thought anything of it.... And when you look at what I said there are two things I’d get crucified for were I a conservative public figure.
Just think if Blazing Saddles came out today.... I wouldn’t watch it nowadays because I’ve made some changes in my life concerning what I view as entertainment but I watched it with the baseball team from college when it was re-shown at our local drive in and we all had a ball and still use some of the lines today when we get together. We were white, Black, Hispanic, American Indian and who knows what else. What a politically incorrect movie though. Wow times have changed. Glad I’m nearing the end.
