Bank Behind 'Fearless Girl' Statute Fined $5M For Underpaying Women

An asset management division of a bank promotes "gender diversity" on corporate boards.

It runs a high-profile campaign by dropping a statue onto Wall Street to challenge the iconic "Charging Bull."

Then the U.S. Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) fines the bank $5 million for paying men more than women in similar positions.

"Feminist" attorney Lisa Bloom sought to discredit Weinstein accusers: The New York Times reports that it has seen emails that show "feminist attorney" Lisa Bloom attempting to collude with The Weinstein Company (TWC) to discredit some or all of the women accusing DEMOCRAT Weinstein.

:rofl2:

Anti-trumper/SJW extraordinaire Alyssa Milano remains silent on former Co star Rose McGowans rape at the hands of Weinstein. HOLLYWOOD HYPOCRISY.

Milano, who starred on the hit series “Charmed” with McGowan, has been devoting the majority of her tweets to gun control in the aftermath of the Las Vegas massacre, but has been mum on Weinstein.

Which is curious because Milano fancies herself a champion of women’s issues. And the double standard seemed not to be lost on McGowan.

Milano tweeted Rep. Tim Ryan, who donated his past contributions given to him by the NRA, totaling $20,000, to groups who advocate from stronger gun control.

“How can we inspire more of your colleagues to follow in your footsteps?” Milano tweeted.

McGowan quoted Milano’s tweet and asked “I don’t know Alyssa, how can we?” which appeared to be shade at Milano for not speaking out against Weinstein.

McGowan retweeted a Twitter user who used that quote and added “With @Alyssa_Milano often rightfully calling out wrongs against women, her silence in support of Charmed co-star @rosemcgowan is deafening.”

For someone who prides herself on 'fighting for women', Hillary sure does find herself around sexual predators and abusers of women a lot.

Hag-like Meryl Streep called the alleged sexual harassment by DEMOCRAT Harvey Weinstein “disgraceful,” “inexcusable,” and an “abuse of power.”

She called the women who have spoken out against him “heroes.”

In a statement, Streep says "she did not know" that DEMOCRAT Weinstein― with whom she has collaborated for years on films and once referred to as a “God”― was engaging in “inappropriate, coercive acts” or that he had paid financial settlements to at least eight women after they accused him of harassment and assault.

Now, THAT IS ACTING. :rofl2:

Fashion designer Donna Karan defends friend Harvey Weinstein, says harassed women ‘may be asking for it’

FASHION designer Donna Karan has come under fire for defending her friend Harvey Weinstein, saying harassed women were asking for trouble.

FASHION designer Donna Karan has come to her friend Harvey Weinstein‘s defence in a bold way — saying sexually harassed women may be “asking for it” by dressing seductively.

“You look at everything all over the world today and how women are dressing and what they are asking by just presenting themselves the way they do. What are they asking for? Trouble,” she told the Daily Mail in a red-carpet interview at the CinéFashion Film Awards in LA.

“To see it here in our own country is very difficult, but I also think how do we display ourselves? How do we present ourselves as women? What are we asking? Are we asking for it by presenting all the sensuality and all the sexuality?”

The DKNY founder, who is friends with Weinstein’s wife, fashion designer Georgina Chapman, described the couple as “wonderful people,” adding: “Harvey has done some amazing things.”

Asked if Weinstein had been “busted,” she reportedly smiled and told the paper, “I don’t think it’s only Harvey Weinstein.”

Her comments are in stark contrast to quotes from Weinstein’s former friends Judi Dench and Meryl Streep, who have both denounced the producer’s actions.

After Weinstein’s history of sexual harassment leaked last week, the 65-year-old movie mogul was fired from The Weinstein Company.

The Twitter response to Donna Karan’s comments has been swift, with many calling for a boycott of the brand.

Thennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn comes the obligatory retraction a few hours later.........

LOS ANGELES -- Fashion mogul Donna Karan is apologizing after praising Harvey Weinstein following his firing from his film company amid allegations of sexual harassment lasting decades.

The Daily Mail reports Karan told reporters on a red carpet in Los Angeles Sunday night that Weinstein "has done some amazing things" and he and his wife are "wonderful people." The 69-year-old Karan added that some women are asking for "trouble" by the way they dress and "presenting themselves the way they do."

In a statement Monday, Karan said her remarks were taken out of context and don't represent her feelings. She says she believes "sexual harassment is NOT acceptable and this is an issue that MUST be addressed once and for all regardless of the individual."

Karan says she's "truly sorry to anyone that I offended and everyone that has ever been a victim."
