federal judge rules police cannot detain open carriers

I suspect that a ticket constituts a legal binding contract. And by using that ticket to gain admittance you are agreeing to the terms of that contract.

The entire problem here seems to stem from the way the police held the offender and obtained his id, etc. Not the fact that he was escorted from the theatre.

You are in error.

The Airline Ticket is a Binding Contract

When you start law school you might not yet know the meaing of "tort," but you certainly understand the general idea of "contract." You have been a party to many contracts already, purchasing groceries, books, clothes, and movie tickets, leasing an apartment, buying a cell phone plan, insuring your car, taking the LSAT, obtaining a student loan, or paying tuition for a legal education. The vocabulary and concepts that these materials introduce will add to but should not obscure your real life experience with and common sense understanding of contract.

Cuuise tickets are also contracts.

are you seriously trying to say that the fine print on a movie ticket that says 'no firearms allowed' would be binding?

Perhaps, I am not a lawyer (thank gawd). But it is a contract according to the article from the law school I posted. How binding that contract is will be the question. I think at the least it puts you in a tresspass situation automatically. and would void your right to watch the movie.
And I will for sure take their word over 911 guys crap on this.

You go ahead and continue to pat yourself on the back; but all you're going to get, is a sprained arm.

You might want to check into the requirements that most states have, for the posting of such; because there's silly little things like signage size, placement, wording, size of the wording, etc.

You're silly suggestion that this being printed on a movie ticket is amusing.
