Doesn't matter. That transpersons required more psychiatric help than non-trans is enough to argue that they are a net expense and lower readiness. The argument the military should make is that they are comparatively expensive in terms of medical and psychiatric care and as a result lower readiness due to that increased use of resources.
Lionfish's argument supplements my earlier one. The judge in this case is horribly biased and should have recused herself on the basis of her past litigation and political views.
The same argument can be made for those suffering with ED and PTSD.

And, if those impact readiness, then those that have those medical issues should not be allowed to join the military either.
She isn't just "LGBTQ" as you put it, but actively litigated and was politically involved with movements, groups, and activities to further that agenda. Being gay alone wouldn't disqualify her. But her being openly active and supportive of a specific political agenda in this area should be reason for her recusal.
