Good lord Don....he's a Cajun! Of course he's a Francophile!would you consider yourself a Francophile or general supporter of the European system?

When I was single I wanted to go to Paris and eat a fabulous meal, drink great wine, spend a day at the Louvre, make love all night to a beautiful Parisean courtesan, beat up a mime and throw up on the Champs Elysees. Now that I'm married I guess I can cross that one of my list.I will do the french open combined with a french cooking class and tour of the wine region!
St tropez, Caen and Normandy will have to wait

Jarod....sometimes I wonder about you. Einstein was a German Jew and had far more obsticles to overcome in rabidly anti-semitic Germany than any working class white person in this country has ever had to deal with.France is a much more well off nation than we are. Everyone is given a much more equal chance at being successful, being born into the luck sperm club is not as much of an advantage. What happens as a result is that those citizens who are likely to be of greatest benefit but are born to a poor family have a greater chance of getting to a place where they can contribute.
Many have pointed out that if Einstein were born and raised in the US instead of Germany, he would not likely have gotten the education that allowed him to make the contributions he was able to make.
Wasnt Sure you'd get he merci bou cou referenceGod Damnit! There goes my screen again!!!

the repugs want education reserved for the wealthy that can afford private schools and to the devil with public schools
Jarod.....anti-semitism had been rampant in Europe, particularly Germany, for centuries before Einstein was born and being Jewish were serious impediments to his gaining entrance into University and advancing his carreer in Academia. Why do you think he had to move to Switzerland? The Germans did not become so rabidly anti-Semitic until after Einstein was already educated. He received an excellent education despite being born to a middle class family that could not afford private school or college.
