Did you fill out a voters registration? Of course you did. Then you showed proof and provided all your information. Then the election commission checked you out and sent you a voters card which includes your poll location. You name and signature were entered in the polling book. When you go to vote, they check to see if your name is in the bookl. Then they check your signature ,comparing it to one in book.
Once you vote, your name is checked as voted. That means that, as Trump lied about, you cannot go out and change clothes and revote. You will show as already voted and the police will be alerted.

I collected registrations a few times. That is exactly what we did. When they fill out a form, you got their signature and their proof. You also take registration from anyone who wants to fill one out. It is not partisan. If you refused to sign someone up, you were breaking the law. Apparently you are still running on empty.
