People love prisons, oil refineries, chemical factories and other toxic storage areas or producers....just as long as it's in another state. Again, an example of the weak minds driving our national politics.

I suspect Brandon had little to say on this subject. Pressure from democrats that enjoy the luxuries of being elected officials dug through their thousands of call logs, email, and even the leftie press, started screeching at the vegetable in the White House, so someone wrote a speech and handed it to Brandon to mouth.
Interesting how these asshats turn on a dime and then try and take credit for doing something that any five year old would have done a full week ago that is, take away their marbles.

When I buy gas and see those rising prices, I just figure that is how we are helping Ukraine. Drive a little less, be smarter about it, drive in a way that maximizes fuel efficiency instead of jack rabbit starts and racing others up to the next traffic signal.

We know that gas prices are not punishingly high until we stop seeing dumb wasteful driving.

Taking it easy on the gas and brakes, timing the lights, etc, also makes brakes and tires last a long time, too. Oh darn, more money saved; more of the environment saved. It's all good.

Let all the fools who apparently have money to burn go racing ahead. I'm in no big hurry. Often, I catch right back up to them waiting at the next traffic signal anyway. If the approach has been timed right, then no stopping, just coast on through after all the money and gas wasters do their racing starts when the light flips green. Catch back up to them again at the next light and repeat.

Gettin pretty pricey to rev up those big loud engines now. Naturally, we don't want to hear anything about how tough inflation is on them if they can still waste all that gas, tires and brakes at these prices.

Completely agreed on the consequences of stupid behavior. Cheap gas encourages wasteful behavior and expensive gas encourages conservatism.

BTW, when Trump fucked up the US COVID response and there was the great toilet paper shortage of 2020? My wife and I had no problem since we were conservative in our resources. Not wildly so, but being country folk, we knew it was wise to be able to survive a few months on our own. Nothing wild. Just understanding shit happens. Like this.

So if he sells his oil to Asia (or wherever), that means less demand to those markets, which means we can get more for less, right?
