Phantasmal found one place that Trump didn't like drilling and wants us to believe it is the same as closing down all exploration and new drilling on Federal land. But yeah, like there too. I get that you are excited you found one place that Trump didn't like drilling, however Trump did not end an energy independence policy.
A slight disagreement. OTOH, I think her comment does exemplify the maxim "Not in my backyard" NIMB.Phantasmal found one place that Trump didn't like drilling and wants us to believe it is the same as closing down all exploration and new drilling on Federal land. Dude, he knows that. That's the joke. Anyone who says "Let's Go Brandon" is saying "Fuck you Biden"....although I expect there are a few fucking morons who say it without knowing what the fuck they are talking about.
the government under senile joe is what is stopping them, idiot.
Biden is taking himself down, no help is needed. as to common enemies, would you say that someone who is on the payroll of our enemies is a traitor? then just look at the Bidens and clintons-----------both families on the payroll of russia and china.
Let's review.
Bungling Biden bowed to reality until his harried handlers realized his pro-Putin policy was politically untenable, so they pulled his puppet strings and he proclaimed that he would only buy oil from famously-free benignly benevolent countries like Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Iran.
I suspect Brandon had little to say on this subject. Pressure from democrats that enjoy the luxuries of being elected officials dug through their thousands of call logs, email, and even the leftie press, started screeching at the vegetable in the White House, so someone wrote a speech and handed it to Brandon to mouth. Interesting how these asshats turn on a dime and then try and take credit for doing something that any five year old would have done a full week ago that is, take away their marbles.
Agreed on layering as a strategy.
The good news is the US only gets about 7% of our oil from Russia...a situation I see as more of a friendly "buy from your friends/local store" strategy...along with the option to execute this particular option of boycotting thereby cutting Russia's income by another 7%.
The bad news is that, IIRC, Europe gets over 40% of their energy from Russia. The US has been warning about Europe becoming energy dependent upon Russia since 1997 when Nord Stream was first built. Most of those voices were from professionals in politics, intelligence agencies and the military. Politicians and private companies profiting off from this said the equivalent of "Russia, Russia, Russia" and "the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back".
So here we are, forced to choose between permanently knuckling down for Russia to keep our Ford and Dodge pickups running or temporarily tighten our belts like our grandparents did in WWII.
Personally, I think too many Americans are too soft to accept it. They'll kneel down as long as they can have their toys.
Bullshit. You and several others support him against America and NATO.
Completely agreed on the consequences of stupid behavior. Cheap gas encourages wasteful behavior and expensive gas encourages conservatism.Hello Dutch,
When I buy gas and see those rising prices, I just figure that is how we are helping Ukraine. Drive a little less, be smarter about it, drive in a way that maximizes fuel efficiency instead of jack rabbit starts and racing others up to the next traffic signal.
We know that gas prices are not punishingly high until we stop seeing dumb wasteful driving.
Taking it easy on the gas and brakes, timing the lights, etc, also makes brakes and tires last a long time, too. Oh darn, more money saved; more of the environment saved. It's all good.
Let all the fools who apparently have money to burn go racing ahead. I'm in no big hurry. Often, I catch right back up to them waiting at the next traffic signal anyway. If the approach has been timed right, then no stopping, just coast on through after all the money and gas wasters do their racing starts when the light flips green. Catch back up to them again at the next light and repeat.
Gettin pretty pricey to rev up those big loud engines now. Naturally, we don't want to hear anything about how tough inflation is on them if they can still waste all that gas, tires and brakes at these prices.
He will have to sell it at a discountoil is what / $140 a barrel? Putin is going to sell his oil if not here it's asia
