Even Chris Matthews takes a swing at Obama the Weak

Matthews is right...that's my biggest gripe about Obama. He has the bully pulpit and refuses to use it. He tries for bipartisanship when there's none to be had.

And if true about the COO thing....that pisses me off too.

Chris Matthews truly is the dumbest thing in news. There's people who are annoying, but he's got the corner on stupidity.

Also, I don't think it's the IRS story that set him off. It's all the AP story. That's the only sin Obama could have committed to have scared him. Which is fine, because I see little value in the Benghazi story, other than it was weird how the State Dept saw the need to lie about it. For whatever reason, Obama still views it as his greatest liability, and that makes retard boy all upset.

The funny thing about the AP story is that Congress ordered the investigation(bipartisan, no less) because of a leak in the thwarting of a Yemeni terrorist plot.

Benghazi is not a problem, it is a repug smoke screen that they have been trying to get traction with and failing miserably

would you have preferred mittens?

as for giving Obama a pass, have you seen pictures of him before he ran for the senate and compared them with how he looks now?

and how do you expect him to lead through the walls that the repugs have erected in the house and senate

the word compromise is not in the repug lexicon

so where is the room to lead, he has done what he can with regard to appointments and executive orders, but even here the repugs block him when they can

the only thing he can hope for is a friendly off year election in 2014 where he may pick up enough seats to reestablish control of congress or at least the senate

how would you suggest that he lead the nation?

he is already hitting the campaign trail to tout his agenda

it is not that i give him a pass, but i do not see how he can do more than he is doing

as for him never having been a leader before, he has experience leading a team trying to better Chicago streets and solving various urban problems

oh and while he is at it, he has been trying to clean up the mess handed to him when he took office

as for blaming the repugs being 'just partisanship', while i am not in love with the dim agenda, i prefer it head and shoulders above the repug agenda, but i do not give either side a complete zero for some things in their agenda

as a final statement, Robert A Heinlein's comment on voting is quite correct, 'whenever you have the chance to vote do so, there may be no one or nothing that you want to vote for, but there is almost always someone or something that you want to vote against'

since i live in a 'blue' state and district, it does not matter a whole lot who i vote 'for' so i find myself voting more and more for independents and against most propositions

bummer

When Bush was President, was it the democrat parties job to work with him or block what he wanted?

No it doesn't. Also, for what purpose did these organizations seek (c)(4) status? To benefit the social good? Damn straight they deserve to be scrutinized.

Oh so you think the American people who now see the IRS involved in their healthcare just overlooking this? Yeah, go with that.

As far as the 501(c)(4) excuse, show me that the IRS had the same level of scrutiny with ALL applications and you have an argument. Otherwise they were singling out a certain political group. Conversely, if you have been paying attention, some of the questions asked by the IRS were completely unrelated to their designation as a 501(c)(4).

Keep your head in the sand. As BAC has so brilliantly pointed out, 2014 is about to be a huge surprise for many lefties.

its becoming clear you are not a dem

It is clear he is not a republican either. BAC has made it plain from very early on that he thinks Obama is not the man folks thought they elected. That he is another cooperate servings president and is not nearly as liberal as advertised or whatnot. Whether we agree with BAC or not (and I don't most of the time ... I think president Obama is plenty liberal :-)) he has been very up front with his ideas about this administration.

I remember when he went off on summers and gietner getting appointed.

but now he takes the side of republican lies.

that is not being fair that is being insane

I appreciate your thoughts brother .. but Obama doesn't even care for liberals .. thus, there aren't many around him .. never have been. His mentor in the Senate was Lieberman .. and it shows.

THE biggest beneficiaries of Obama's terms in office has been Wall Street and Banking .. by far.

That's not a liberal, it's not a progressive .. that's a corporatist.

That's dumb. You seem to think that one must be one or the other .. democrat or republican .. I'm neither.

Your side is the side that supports the attack and destruction of small nations for profit. That's not my side.

Your side produced perhaps the worst legislation in history instead of delivering real healthcare that Americans can support. That's not my side.

There is a really important element in this conversation .. only one of us is consistent .. and it isn't you. I address the same issues the exact same way regardless of which party is in office .. because FOR ME, human life is far more important than partisan politics.

what the hell happened to you bac?

I would dump Obama the second he started defending the crap you have begun to defend.

Its the country not the man.

Your have begun to take the side of the very people who want to drown this country in the bath tub
