Do facts matter to you?
A. African-Americans are a communal people with a "circle the wagons" mentality that has served us well throughout our history in a racist America.
B. At one time nearly all African-Americans were republicans .. but switched to the Democratic Party when they took a stronger interest in a more equitable society while the repoublicans went chasing southern racists .. which was an asinine policy that still haunts it today.
C. African-Americans vote 90% democrat .. which has far less to do with any "hive mentality" and far more to do with intelligently ascertaining who and what is in our best interests.
D. There are more rich African-Americans who vote democrat than there are that vote republican .. AND many rich white people vote democrat as well.
I hear ya cuz. Everytime I do that I get blasted and flamed by one side or the other (or even both) for being a partisan. No one wants to hear an ugly truth. It forces them to think and god knows how much Americans hate having to do that! You're singing to the choir good brother. I'm the LAST person on this board to give the Democratic Party a pass .. and taking black votes for granted is one of the reasons I am not a democrat.
That being said, whatever we do about race it should be done truthfully and with our eyes open. Suggesting that there is no difference between the two parties in regards to their treatment of African-Americans is far from the truth.
I'm not defending the Democratic Party, but defending the truth.
A circle the wagons mentality? I wonder if black are too primitive then for a diverse society/
No .. but you most certainly are .. which is not to suggest that you're a racist .. just a scared little man who is scred of everything .. especially diversity.

LOL Well thank you Captain obvious. You know. I heard there was actually a word for that, uhhmm let me see...oh yea! It's called politics! LOLSome MAY have a notion of something being better for someone else. A higher notion, for instance.
additionally, what is perceived as best varies too. Some individuals believe low taxes are better for them, because thats where they are in life. Some want more food stamps each week.

Oh he does have a point. It's a lame one and you're right, it is a strawman. I defy him to name one individual he knows personally that actually wants to be on food stamps and they consider that their best interest. I bet he probably can't but if there are they do have a right to see that as their interest. Just as I have the right to protect my interest to watch the skies at night for space ships invading us from the planet Xorp (which I suspect is where Asshat is from! ;-).Food stamps have absolutely ZERO to do with this. That's just bullshit and surely you have a better argument than this strawman. It was CLINTON who ended food stamps to many Americans OF ALL COLORS.
Why do you believe that African-Americans shouldn't vote their interests just as everyone else in America does?
Our interests are not food stamps .. but the well-being of the poor .. OF ALL COLORS .. is one of our interests.
BINGO .. great response brother.
You are a racist. You believe there is some universal black character. You believe in the Black Borg.
A "circle the wagons" type of people. You don't even realize how stupid you sound.
If I sound stupid to you .. then I'm doing just fine.
"Circle the wagons" happens when a group is under attack. Sorry that pushes the limits of your mental capabilities.
90% .. as in NINETY-PERCENT of African-Americans vote democratic ... and AGAIN, has nothing to do with "borgs" or "hives" and everything to do with voting black interests .. which you seem incapable of interpreting .. so you're left with misplaced Star Trek examples.
You are strange .. and funny as shit. :0)
Now there you elucidated a good argument with out your usual paranoid context.you're getting distracted by confusing details.
Blacks are not a monolithic community, because what's best for rich blacks is low taxes, but poor blacks prefer more income redistribution.
You use OUR interests like blacks are all part of a hive mind. That's not the case.

Agreed.I'd agree with that as well .. but he isn't a racist.
You claim it's some race identity wagon circling feature. I think it's just a function of socioeconomic class.
Look who's talking. The guy that has to eat pudding with a plastic spoon! LOLA circle the wagons mentality? I wonder if black are too primitive then for a diverse society/
I don't need food stamps or any assistance at all .. yet I have concern for those who do. How is that difficult to interpret?
So you don't vote based on your best interest. You just lied then.
