What we know of this tax cut plan doesn't make any sense. The only ones to benefit are corporations and the wealthy. The little guy is left out.
I'll bite. What caused the recession
California ranks 34th out of 50 states in highest poverty rate. Mississippi has the highest.
There is such a tiny percentage of Americans who pay estate taxes, the subject isn't even with discussing.

Could it have been the Bush housing crash?
Insanity is doing the same thing over & over and expecting different results. Kansas is that insanity. Let's not make the whole nation be that.
actually it was the housing crash, but don't put that on Bush, well, you're stupid, so you can. but a quick review of facts put's that elephant in the laps of Ted Kennedy and Barney Frank Do you read? of course not, but get someone to read that whole everybody deserves to own a home serenade to you, it's great theater

This may not be possible, or ever happen, but perhaps someday you will reflect on the pain and damage that's been caused by things you were a cheerleader for: The Iraq War Disaster, George Bush's tax cut schemes, and Supply Side nonsense.
The whole idea of the estate tax is to prevent to much inherited wealth accumulating to too few families. It is an important device to prevent an oligarchy of a handful of wealthy families from controlling our political and socioeconomic system.
