EPA EMPLOYEES "openly celebrated" in the halls about PRUITTS 'firing'...

I've often used my private credit card for expenses incurred while working for a large company. Since I get 2% cash back, I consider it a benefit. :D
It sounds as if they had trouble getting reimbursed, I imagine that is the difference.

A private company is different than the government. But wouldn't having your employees charge stuff for you, on their credit, be a problem even in a large corporation?

Please state for the record the exact depth of your knowledge of the proper use of government and corporate credit cards.

I highly doubt the director would have anything to do with an accounting issue.

In one instance, according to former deputy chief of staff Kevin Chmielewski, [then-executive scheduler Sydney] Hupp was stuck with a bill of roughly $600 for a booking she had made for the administrator’s family during the transition. Chmielewski said in an interview last month that he was in Jackson’s office when Hupp approached Pruitt’s chief of staff to explain that the period for transition reimbursements had expired and that Pruitt had not covered the bill.
The incident, aspects of which were first reported in the Hill newspaper, prompted Jackson to leave $600 in cash in Hupp’s drawer.

I have been a fed since 1980, off and on. It is not appropriate to accept funds, even temporarily (loan), from your employees in almost all cases. I probably wouldn't get fired for it, but I would definitely get a suspension.

I have heard that many republicans will go to great lengths to defend a disgustingly corrupt swamp creature like Pruitt.
In fact I heard it right here on JPP.
It is true that the orange clown fires Washington swamp denizens like Pruitt. But it seems he has to hire them first.

I've done it when working for State GovCo as well. They didn't like it, but I did it anyway to get what I needed, when I needed it, instead of waiting through a lengthy procurement process. No one could give me a legitimate reason why they didn't like it; they just didn't.

One large company that I worked for didn't like it either. The reason I was given back then was that they preferred the cash back for themselves.

A small company I worked for had no problem with it at all. When I had employees I preferred to have them expense it themselves, as company-based cards tend to get abused.

"period for transition reimbursements had expired" In other words, their accounting practices and policies suck.

What did I say earlier? FedCo fucks up everything it touches.

No, it means Pruit is a cad. These were for personal hotel rooms for Pruit’s family.
