Immigrant stock- now pulling up the ladder. This is probably the most shameful week in English parliamentary history. And it's only Thursday.
Why are you a sexist anti-immigrant misogynist racist?
Haw, haw...................................haw.

To the contrary, the Donbas is the hub of pro-Russian support.
Why are you a sexist anti-immigrant misogynist racist?

So your theory is someone who supports Russia's invasion of the Ukraine would stay in Ukrainian controlled Ukraine (rather than flee to Russian controlled Ukraine), but would flee to the EU, even though they hate the EU, but then would flee the EU, to Russian controlled Ukraine, that for some reason they had not fled to before?
And all this would not happen in a few very confused refugees, but will happen with all the 5 million refugees already in the EU.
The words not believable come to mind.
Wrong biographer, I guess.
Let me know who wins, Walt- you or your strawmen.
5 million people have left Ukraine for the EU. If Ukraine wins the war, many will return, but also many will not return. If Putin wins the war, few will return.
What this Ukrainian population in the EU will do is tighten ties between Ukraine and the EU. Putin has hurt his own cause of driving a wedge between Ukraine and the EU.
Poland cannot hand out rights to travel anywhere in the EU to refugees. It is part of the Schengen Agreement, which gives the EU control over it.
It is not being used, so not sending a strong message. It is being talked about being used, which is pretending to send a strong message. The purpose of pretending is to divert attention from the UK's failures compared to the EU.
Priti Patel accused of misleading parliament over refugee pushbacks
Court ruling reveals unpublished parts of policy saying tactic would not be used against asylum seekers
The home secretary has been accused of misleading parliament after a high court ruling revealed that unpublished parts of a controversial policy to push back migrant dinghies in the Channel said the tactic would not be used against asylum seekers.
The pushbacks policy was finalised in autumn 2021, yet in January this year Priti Patel said pushing back migrant boats was “absolutely still policy” when she gave evidence to the Lords justice and home affairs committee. She has been accused of giving that evidence even though she knew about the unpublished clauses in the policy not to use pushbacks against asylum seekers.
