Well, the Danes do not have that power. There are a huge number of Polish immigrants, and the Danes have no power to send them anywhere. They practically almost have Danish citizenship. There are even more Turks. If the Turks do not have German citizenship, the Danes have a little more control over them, but not enough to send them to Rwanda. About half the Turks have German citizenship, and the rest usually have a relative with German citizenship. Then there are the Bosnians, who the Danes are required to accept if the EU accepts them.

Finally we have the Ukrainians. 5 million Ukrainians have now gotten IMMEDIATE refugee status in the EU, with full rights to travel, work, and receive benefits where ever they like, with some exceptions of Ireland which still has some agreements with the UK. All 5 million could legally move to Denmark and literally double the population.

If you ignore per capita, I suppose the poorest country in Europe would be Liechtenstein or something. It is one of the richest countries in Europe, but darn small.

An article from a year ago... So it did not come to be. It does not even say that Denmark is considering sending people to Rwanda, just asked the question if it is considering. It does nothing to reverse what is actually happening to Ukrainian immigrants right now, or anyone else given free travel throughout the EU.

Have you seen the Danish border? A lot of people here make the absurd claim that the American border is open, but the Danish border is quite literally open. I have traveled to Denmark from Germany, but there is absolutely no Danish Government record that I did. The border is so open, they do not have a way to collect records on who is crossing it.

The Syrians have been there for at least 7 years now. When you gave someone legal status 7 years ago, it is difficult to rescind it. I mean going forward, maybe, but probably not. Retroactively, it just is not going to happen.

With the Syrians in Sweden, your number is a bit off. There 191,530 Syrian born Swedes, and 50,620 Swedish born Swedes with at least one parent born in Syria. Those two numbers do add up to about 250,000, but lets look at them in some more detail. To deport them, you would need to deport 50,000 people who have lived their entire life in Sweden, and 190,000 citizens of Sweden who have lived for years in Sweden and have family there. Do you realize how difficult that would be?

The Swedes are desperate to get rid of many Syrian and Afghan single men who contribute nothing except misery to the host nation. I've spoken to many Swedes and not found one yet that defends the policy of taking over 2 million-odd refugees and migrants.

I am sure you have met Swedes who want to deport Swedish citizens, but it would be impossible. And there is a bigger wave coming. I have no idea where those 5 million Ukrainians are going, but they will settle somewhere in the EU. And there could be more. The war is not even two months old.

You should not forget that a great many Ukrainians are pro-Russian. NATO forgot.

In theory, they might. Past experience is that some might, but many will not, even if things get better in Ukraine. If things do not get better in Ukraine, then almost none will return. Bosnia is doing much better, but many Bosnian refugees are just not going to return.
