They're not my responsibility either, coon.

As has been done before, let's break down those percentages because it's apparent you can't and don't understand proportions.

40.2% of 47 million is 18.9 million white people on food stamps. That 18.9 million whites is drawn from a white population of 220 million. That means 8.5% or 1 in 12 whites uses food stamps.

25.7% of 47 million is 12.1 million black people on food stamps. That 12.1 million is drawn from a black population of 41 million. That means 29.5% or 1 in 3 1/2 blacks uses food stamps.

When you learn math and can understand the truth about proportions, let me know.

Georgia has reportedly removed thousands of people from the federal food stamp program in recent months

The state removed nearly 8,000 people a month from the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) between April and October, compared to less than 400 a month from October 2017 through March of this year, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, which cited data from the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS).

Georgia officials told the newspaper that they are now able to better track who is receiving food stamps and remove ineligible recipients through a new data management system.

I'll wager your illusions are secure in Reality America where 1 in 5 kids grow up in poverty. Now that my friends is an exceptional nation.

Sounds like the parents that produced those kids should be doing their job to feed them.

Don't blame the nation when the individuals that created the child aren't doing their job. That's where it starts.

Interesting story. Might make a best seller in the fiction section if you put it in print.

Someone reading your fiction could take some interesting lessons from it.
Don't drive too fast under a highway bridge.
Wear life vests when on a boat.
For the most part, things don't just happen. They are a direct result of a choice.
No one owes you a damn thing and it's not the taxpayer's responsibility to offset the results of choices you made.

I remember the Naked City television series in the late 50's.

They're preamble was something like, "There are 9 million stories in the Naked City".

For every successful man's story, I bet there is also a poor man's story to tell and hear as well.

That's all I am saying CFM! You don't have to have the hardliner's approach to everything!

You know you could lighten up a bit!

It's called a common sense approach. You're the one calling it hard line.

I didn't drive the boat too fast. I didn't fail to make sure passengers had life vests. I didn't make any of the choices in that story. That means it's not my responsibility to offset the results like you'd have so many people be forced to do in similar situations.
