Who was closed out for their claims?
There were probably hundreds of civil lawsuits filed in NY under this law. All of them were given the same length of time to file a civil lawsuit as anyone else in NY that had been sexually abused in any way.

It seems you are ignorant of the the laws.
NY passed a law going forward giving all victims of sexual assault 20 years to file a lawsuit. That applies for any assaults that occur after the law was passed. NY also passed a law giving all victims from assaults in the past the ability to file a civil suit. That law gave them a one year window to file the suit.

All sexual assault victims in NY are entitled to justice since they now have 20 years in which to file a civil law suit.

There is none.

Here is the original appeals court 3 judge panel decision affirming the judgement against Trump. It's 77 pages and well reasoned.


The appeals court then refused to hear the appeal en banc by a vote of 8-2

The two dissenting judges were Trump appointees and they repeatedly refer to "President Trump" in their dissent.

They will be hard pressed to try to take the case and throw out rules that have existed for decades and affect hundreds of civil cases.

Imagine a world where you can't introduce anything about the character of a witness or a party to a lawsuit in court. Hundreds of women could claim Trump raped them and he couldn't accuse them of lying by bringing in character witnesses since the USSC would have just ruled that can't happen.

Hag? Trump was sjhown a photo of her at the age he raped her and he identified her as his ex wife. There are no kangaroo courts for the wealthy. He had a staff of powerful lawyers delaying like crazy because they had no responses to the charges.
