E Jean Carrol case stands! Appeal denied.

Magats love their rapist felon king so much they will pay it for him.
Why would they have to? Paramount / CBS has already offered $15 million to settle with Trump, a figure his legal team rejected. So, I'd expect the eventual settlement to be somewhere between $20 and $40 million. That's plenty of cash to pay of Carrol with globs left over.

Wackadoodle better hope this next book will pay her rent...she's not going to be getting anything from the President...;)

Trump can pay Carrol her $5 million out of the tens of millions Paramount / CBS is going to cough up to him...
It is not that he cannot afford to pay for his crimes, but that he will fight justice as long as he can. Paramount is in the midst of a sale for billions. Trump can delay the sale, so they want to pay him off to go away. It is not about justice. It is about money.

It isn't a criminal case, but a civil suit. And you're correct. In both cases it's about the money and nothing else.

Complex estate and trust cases frequently involve multiple jurisdictions, inviting a responses from the federal judiciary.
Trump can appeal it to the SCOTUS they may or may not choose to take the case. Seeing that the statute of limitations had run then was extended to included Trump 30 years before it is likely the SCOTUS will take the case because it seems to violate 14th Amendment equal protection clause. State cases can be ultimately appealed to the SCOTUS few are accepted though.

The dozy bitch can't even remember that ffs!!

The statute of limitations in E. Jean Carroll's case against Donald Trump was potentially extended by the New York Adult Survivors Act. This law allows victims of sexual assault to sue their abusers despite the original statute of limitations having passed. Carroll's second lawsuit, filed in November 2022 (referred to as Carroll II), included a battery claim under this Act, which was the basis of the trial in April 2023.
If she set a specific year and month Trump could have defended himself by producing his calendar and proving his whereabouts at the time. So this event was so traumatic that she suddenly could not remember when it happened. This moron got raped in a crowded department store and never called security or the police. She also got raped by another millionaire in a hotel elevator and never told security or the police their either. Apparently she only attracts rich rapists. Most people think rape is sexy? She is a nut case that secretly fantasized about being raped.

The case wasn't about sexual assault dipshit, it was about insulting her when she me too'ed in her book.

It's not over yet that old dried up lying hag will go to her grave without Trump ever paying her a penny.

Lunacy like this never prevails in the long run.
It was about sexual assault.

I just cannot understand how the statute of limitations was changed for this one case. I cannot see how that will be allowed to stand.
It seems you have a problem understanding something that never happened.

The statute of limitations was extended for all cases of sexual assault to allow for filing a civil lawsuit. Most of the cases filed were for minors being assaulted.

The Pedo Party believes that a man having sex with a 13-year-old girl should be legal. It explains why DeSantis signed a bill only penalizing those raping girls under 12 and why MAGAts believe Trump isn't a pedophile for having sex with 15–17-year-olds.

Not true, remember Anna Nicole Smith? She sued over her inheritance, a state issue, in the SCOTUS and won.
In that case, SCOTUS took it up under a federal law about probate which the Texas courts had violated.
There must be a federal issue or a constitutional issue for the federal courts to take an appeal from state courts.
