Obozo claims he deported millions but he has no evidence for that and since obamacare proved he's a pathological liar, only an idiot believes what he says. I suspect his deportations for 8 years were more like 20,000. A couple years ago he gave a speech where he said all "ordinary illegals" do not have to worry about deportation.

The actual reason it doesn't work is because current law requires employers (i.e. farmers) to pay for transportation, boarding, and other benefits, which they obviously can't afford. We need to finish nd a way to make the guest worker program work.

There is no way unless we put a ball and chain on each guest worker. Most of them just use guest worker programs as a way to get into america and then they take off. They never had any intention of working at the intended job.

Farmers can only afford to pay so much before produce prices start going up.

And once the produce harvesting workforce becomes predominantly staffed by American workers, the next thing you know, they'll be demanding full benefits. Paid vacation, paid sick leave, maternity leave, child day care, health, dental and vision insurance, 401k plans..... etc, etc, etc.

Then you can look for $5 apiece tomatoes and $10 apiece avocados. Potatoes at $4 ea, grapes at $10 a pound. Watermelons at $15 ea.

Frozen vegetables around $7 or $8 a bag.

And you'll be the one howling the loudest.
