Ultimately, the Fed controls the interest rate, not Trump. And while the interest rate has remained flat, so have wages for 90% of workers.

None of this was what you promised this time last year.

Real wages for 90% of workers grew at a rate SLOWER than inflation.

All the wage growth was among the top 1%.

Overall, wages grew 3.1% for all workers BUT wages grew 3.7% for the top 1%. That means wage growth for the bottom 90% was less than the 3.1% average, because math. So since inflation was about 2.8% this year so far, and wage growth for the top 1% was 3.7%, that means wage growth for the bottom 90% was less than inflation, which means 90% of workers found themselves falling farther behind thanks to your shitty policies.

It ends consideration for damaging policies and allows meaningful progress like a higher minimum wage, stricter oversight of Financial services, free public colleges, Medicare for All, and a Green Deal to create jobs and transform our energy economy.

None of that is possible so long as Conservatives are still allowed a seat at the table.
