Does trump have a viable defense?

And if you have read the indictment, you should hope that the odds approach 100%. Everyone who voted for Trump is going to have to admit they made a mistake. Because there is incontrovertible evidence that Trump stole top secret classified documents, many of them speaking to our military capabilities and those of our allies. And we know he showed them to people who had no business seeing them. We also know that Jarod Kushner got 2 billion dollars from the Saudis. If you are not firmly for the conviction of Donald Truimp, you are anti-American. It's that simple. This isn't joking around a message board. What Trump did may very well get many people killed. Your dismissive response is, again IMHO, completely inappropriate. My two cents.

Agree with everything you said. Trump is clearly a traitor.

A fact change from AP is meaningless.

{Tens of thousands of Obama's documents were transported to Chicago. But these items were shipped to a federal government facility — which is what's supposed to happen with a president's records. Federal law requires that presidents and their administrations keep a detailed collection of emails, documents, and even gifts from their time in office since all of those things are actually the property of the American people.In Obama's case, the National Archives took legal ownership of Obama's documents and then began the long process of sorting through the material before the public could request it years later. Some of this material was then turned over to Obama's presidential library, which is the standard legal process.}

{Though the delay has sparked some ire from historians and critics, the process of transferring the records themselves often take years, not to mention the task of digitizing roughly 30 million documents to be made available online.}

You're an odd one - I didn't have you pegged as a fascist.

Trumptards eventually prove how useless they are.

Did President Obama take Presidential records to Chicago after he left office?

No. When President Obama left office in 2017, NARA took physical and legal custody of the records of his administration in accordance with the Presidential Records Act. NARA made arrangements to move the roughly 30 million pages of paper Presidential records of the Obama administration to a federally acquired, modified, and secured temporary facility that NARA leased in Hoffman Estates, IL, which meets NARA’s requirements for records storage and security.

I watched the case once where the prosecutor refused to participate. His supervisor would not allow him to drop the case, but he did not believe in it, because it was so weak.

He did not give an opening statement, he called the one witness to the stand, and allowed him to testify “in the narrative, which means without asking any questions. The Prosecutor did not cross examine any of the defense witnesses. The prosecutor refused to give a closing statement. If Jerry came back 15 minutes into deliberation, and found the defendant guilty.

It looks like a very strong case for the prosecution, but I’m often amazed by what a jury might do.

My biggest concern, and it isn't that big, is that this incompetent judge will direct a verdict for Trump. I really don't understand the Trump cult psyche, but it appears she is a card carrying member. Would she be willing to ruin her reputation and her career to save Trump from this one indictment, when others are surely coming, and they WON'T be brought in the Southern District of Florida. I have a feeling that the appellate court slapping her on the nose with a newspaper will probably do the trick. She might want to stay on this case to prove she can be unbiased. But again, the mentality of cults isn't something I can relate to.

I would expect an investigation would be done, kinda like they’re doing in the Biden case, and they did in the Pence case. If that investigation showed evidence as to how those documents got there, or that someone specific knew they were there and knew they were classified, and did not turn them in, then I would expect charges to be filed.

Biden never had authorization to even view that material. Why is he not being prosecuted?

Brilliant argument.

No, I played your game a little while, so I wish you would answer my questions.

It appears you agree that Trump is charged with very serious crimes. If they prove the allegations, do you think he has a defense?

He did answer your questions...repeatedly. RQAA.
