The task is harder given a mainstream media that has shed any objectivity practicing a repulsive brand of malfeasance.

Ironically, I never liked Christie as a candidate or as a politician because he was merely "Democrat" light and I am delighted that the left is erupting in such outrageous hypocritical fashion showing their true colors with this man.

But for the lyng leftist twits on the Democrat side, there is more outrage over a bridge closure than the murders of four Americans in Benghazi thanks to the gross incompetence and neglignce of this Imperial President; there is more outrage over a bridge closure than a misguided and mismanaged Government gun inning operation resulting in American deaths; there is more outrage for a bridge closure than over the IRS targeting groups for purely political purposes; all because Christie has the audacity to call himself....wait for it....here it comes....a Republican.

Unlike you I thought Christie was okay, from the little I knew of him, especially when he stood up to the repub base over Hurricane Sandy. Doesn't mean I wanted him for the president but the people of NJ elected him and seemed to like him.

Christie's getting the same media treatment anybody gets, left right or middle, when it appears they tried to sway the outcome of an incident in their favor.
Christie commissioned the report from his own lawyers, not an independent source, and paid for it with taxpayer money estimated to be $1 million. I can almost see the dripping scorn in your comments if a Dem had done the same.

Yes, a bridge closure doesn't rise to the level of any death but it's still conspiracy and official misconduct, not to mention perjury and obstruction of justice if there were lies meant to thwart the investigation. The people involved violated the public trust and everything I mentioned above is considered criminal conduct.

Is it just me or does this whole "Bridgegate" thing come across as way too convoluted, petty and politically risky? By all accounts, this guy was a shoo-in for reelection, and was pretty well known (to my disgust) for working closely with Democrats when he thought it was to everyone's benefit. A cursory glance at his record tells me that this action on his part is not really consistent with what we know about him. Not quite so difficult to swallow is the concept that the two people he has assigned blame to were a couple of kamikaze pilots willing to commit political seppuku because their Emperor was dishonored. And from the absolute depths of cynicism, what I think really happened was... Well, let's just wait for a few years and see if these two people surface as minor functionaries for some low level Democrat running for local office somewhere.

The speculation about political revenge is accurate, just not for the election issues.

I've already linked you to the issue of Supreme Court issues between Christie, and his Dem. state senate. The day before he ordered the bridge lane closures, he referred to senate dems. as 'animals'.

The next morning, the now infamous 'time for some traffic in Ft. Lee' email was sent.


It will take time, but Christie will eventually be found out.

And...can you cite one example of Christie 'working closely with Democrats.....' save for when he begged POTUS for Sandy money?
