Do you believe in free speech?

Being taught and discussed is one thing. Placing the blame of racism and bigotry on us today for our (not so pleasant) history is the problem. Teach history along with the way things have become better, not instill the disdain of the past.

Indeed.

There are limits on free speech.

The problem is the way history is taught. It rekindles the division and disdain. Don't over emphasize the unpleasant side of our country's history, the good does outweigh the bad.

It's why tens of millions are walking, swimming and climbing mountains to get here.

Where does the "over emphasizing" occur?

When the movie, "Song of the South" is censored by the left, history is censored.

When a TV show like "Amos and Andy" is censored, history is censored.

The far left is skilled at censoring history.

They love to tear down historical statues too.

I do, I love that government can’t limit what I can say!

But they can limit what you teach children. States set limits on that all the time. This is petty equivalent to limiting the age the kids get to view porn. Free speech doesn't mean you get to bring Hustler to your first grade class... and the law simply limits when you can begin sexualizing children.

Cool. Send your kids to school at twitter. Got to warn you though, twitter's "standards" probably do not include instilling discipline in young minds. At least, let's hope not because they are a private company.

Twitter doesn't teach anything, other than showing off the inanity in people.
