My goodness, you seem to think Liberal Socialists OWN the military of the US! Who says the military wouldn't be fighting to defend the Constitution like the rest of the people? They are sworn to defend it, so it doesn't make sense they would be protecting people who are trying to destroy it. I think you have a very unrealistic view of how this might go down... if the people who are angry, were some isolated little rag-tag group of "rabble-rousers" you'd have some kind of valid point, but I doubt there would ever be much of any insurrection.

If you commit treason or violence against this country like McVeigh then you will be treated like the criminal you are. Seven Days in May is the movie about your military takeover. Don't get me wrong, I've seen American troops intentionally kill Americans. I know it can happen. A good, old-fashioned movie with great acting and actors!

What? Did you miss reading about our own American Revolution? Or the Russian Revolution? Maybe you heard of Castro's revolution is Cuba? The vietnamese certainly gave us all we wanted and then some.

The key to the revolution being discussed here is the reactions of the population.

If, as someone suggested, we slaughter families, the revolution would certainly fail. If the american public were to back the revolution (which would depend on the reasons for it), the revolution would be successful.

Look, I know you've watched some sensationalist movie, and that's how you've envisioned how things would actually be in your mind... but things in real life, are often not as they are depicted in the movies... no, really, it's true!

Tim McVeigh was a moron. What he pulled, is exactly what WON'T happen. Yeah, I know, you would cream your jeans to see a few dozen mad-teabaggers get mowed down by the Marines outside the Pentagon, but that is not what would happen in this situation either. Think in terms of "collective power" for a moment. Who would most likely have more of it... 50 individual states, or the US Federal government? Now think about tangible resources, power supplies, industry, infrastructures... who controls more? 50 individual states, or the Federal Government? Finally, think about logistics and territory... who controls more? Washington DC, or the 50 states?

What I think you need to start doing, is understanding that your opposition is not some lone crazed individual like Tim McVeigh, and it's not some radical nutjob militia group in a made-for-tv movie. It is a sizable and growing portion of America, which I don't think you fully comprehend. Your enemy is widespread, from sea to shining sea, not just isolated in the South, or cabins in Montana. In fact, the only two areas of the country dominated by Socialist Marxist liberals, are the northeast and the west coast, so your resources are already logistically divided in half. You will be in a mess, when all hell breaks lose. Not that anything like that will happen at first, that seems to be what you think, that an overthrow of a government is done in conditions of anarchy, and most of the time, that simply isn't the case.
