Disillusioned With Dems and GOP, Independents Now Largest Voter Group in the US

Why? They might hold a very low cost version for their primary. There really are no rules on how a party selects their candidates.

Understandable, but does squeeze them out of the attention candidates get in larger races and takes away from them the structured primary others earn

For starters plenty of independents are either more liberal than most Democrats or more conservative than most Republicans. Being an independent doesn’t necessarily mean one is in the middle. But for the sake of discussion let’s say those who are in the middle did register with a party, they would probably be called RINOs or DINOs if they don’t walk in lock step with the party. So what do you do then?

I can't vote in Dem or Rep primaries and I have no problem with that. I used to be a registered Republican for 40 years but they've become way too extreme and radical for me.

most white people have been voting for the gopigs for the pas 40 years and thats why the gopigs are allowed to get away with what they been getting away with, lying to white america for 40 years!

"Independent" is my party, too. Looks like my party is the majority party.

Winding 336 miles through Maricopa, Pinal and Pima counties, the Central Arizona Project supplies water from the Colorado River to 80 percent of the state’s population and 40 percent of its farmlands. A drought has prompted the U.S. Department of Interior to implement a Tier-1 shortage for the first time, which will cut 18 percent of Arizona’s water supply from the Colorado River. But during Arizona’s legislative session thus far, bills to address the water shortage have been overshadowed by the 140 bills aimed at preventing so-called election fraud.
Arizona residents like Perri Benemelis, a white 61-year-old water policy analyst, are tired of “election fraud” talk, and many are turning away from the Republican and Democratic parties and registering or identifying as independents
.

AND PRES.MORON HAS A 24% APPROVAL RATING WITH THEm , ACCORDING TO THE LATEST CIVIQS POLL...

 So many people switched to GOP from Independent and left the D party between 2016 and 2020 it's not even funny.

But most votes ever for Biden? I don't think so. :nono:
They also left the Republican Party and if Trump is your candidate, they won’t vote for him, just like last time.

In addition, more Americans self-identify as Republicans than Democrats now...by nearly 8 points...a reversal of nearly 15 pts. after ONE YEAR of Federal Dunce-o-crat governing, or, ahem...lack thereof.

November is right around the corner......

Independents don't have the balls to take sides.
They should NEVER be allowed to vote in Democratic or Republican Party primaries.
Only registered party members have any business voting in primaries.
This is yet another fuckup in the way America does things.

Some wacked-out states allow the same voters to vote in both the Democrat and Republican primaries! SO YES, THINGS ARE GETTING GOOFY!

This has to be some TRUMPTARDED idea!
