"Independent" is my party, too. Looks like my party is the majority party.

Winding 336 miles through Maricopa, Pinal and Pima counties, the Central Arizona Project supplies water from the Colorado River to 80 percent of the state’s population and 40 percent of its farmlands. A drought has prompted the U.S. Department of Interior to implement a Tier-1 shortage for the first time, which will cut 18 percent of Arizona’s water supply from the Colorado River. But during Arizona’s legislative session thus far, bills to address the water shortage have been overshadowed by the 140 bills aimed at preventing so-called election fraud.
Arizona residents like Perri Benemelis, a white 61-year-old water policy analyst, are tired of “election fraud” talk, and many are turning away from the Republican and Democratic parties and registering or identifying as independents

good to hear you've abandoned pedo joe....

This is Dems trying to think that 3/4 of the country has not gone GOP.

Democrats drove the people to it. Americans want to get as far away from the Democrat/Social Marxist party as possible.

Independents don't have the balls to take sides.
They should NEVER be allowed to vote in Democratic or Republican Party primaries.
Only registered party members have any business voting in primaries.
This is yet another fuckup in the way America does things.

Don't overstate how anxious they are to join the party of Boebert/Taylor-Green/Pillow guy.

A lot was already done leading up to 2020, that's why Democrats cheated.

With the crap going on now, it'll be around 50% more leaving. (probably just under)

They'll have to fake voter registration in order to even pretend they have a chance at winning.

I can't vote in Dem or Rep primaries and I have no problem with that. I used to be a registered Republican for 40 years but they've become way too extreme and radical for me.

Depends on your goal. If you want more extreme candidates then that is the way to go.

And it’s interesting to say independents won’t take sides. Bernie Sanders is an independent. Say what you will about him, and I don’t have a lot positive to say, but that guy definitely takes a side in what he believes and stands for.

Pretty revealing. The only reason you think anything was stolen is that you can't conceive of large masses of people not agreeing w/ your POV.

We're not a conservative country. We're not a liberal country, either.

 So many people switched to GOP from Independent and left the D party between 2016 and 2020 it's not even funny.

But most votes ever for Biden? I don't think so. :nono:

What's funny about those who complain about independents is thinking that because you are registered as a Dem or Rep that somehow that makes you more principled. Just because you are ride or die for your party doesn't make it so.

Wow. Matt Dildo actually is dumb enough to swallow Trump's load that the election was stolen from Trump. I always thought he was a major Trump dick-sucker.
I wonder how much money Trump has fleeced from him. No wonder Trump loves the under-educated.

Well I won't agree with your first statement, Independents are just voters who don't want to be identified with any political party, nothing wrong with that, only irony is that one doesn't even have to register as an Independent

And secondly, couldn't agree more with your second point, only registered voters in that party should be allowed to vote in the party primary, never understood the logic behind allowing anyone to vote in deciding who a party wants to nominate as a candidate, in fact, that used to be one of the major reasons people register in a party, to vote in the primary

I agree with the second on one condition: That the party putting on that primary pay IN FULL for it. Party only primaries should not be paid for by taxpayers or those not in that party.

Only problem with that is that you are favoring the existing parties, a start up or independent party who lack the resources. Don't know where you live, but where I live, primary day for all parties are on the same day and open to any party running candidates

Why? They might hold a very low cost version for their primary. There really are no rules on how a party selects their candidates.
