It can backfire big time if Trump does the right things. I suspect the timing of this was not what the Clintons wanted. No way they wanted to give Trump time to respond before the debate. My guess is she was going to pull another Fat Piggy at the debate and her dutiful followers in the media were going to be prepared to follow up with the audio. But the release of Podestas emails forced their hand early.

Now what Trump needs to do tomorrow night EVERY time it comes up is say "look these people aren't here to talk about my private conversations from 10 years ago or your husbands alleged sexual abuses of women. Is that what you want to talk about Hillary? I want to talk about how we protect the American people from your disasters us Syria policy. Your open borders policy and your support of TPP which will be worse than NAFTA"

Rinse. Wash. Repeat.

He has now given the GOP cover. They just say "he apologized" and move.

Do these things and he cruises. Fall back into his petty bullshit like he did with Miss Piggy and he loses.

Well, the petty bit has always been his Achilles Heal. If he's able to stay away from it I'll be surprised. Hell, the hypocrisy is so glaring I'm not sure I'd be able to keep my mouth shut when it comes. The Clinton's...of all people, claiming to be outraged over Trump's language...not what he did, but what he said.

I'm not sure I could do it lol.

But yeah, Trump can flip it back on them if he can muster the discipline. The town hall setting plays to his advantage: Trump is almost always good in front of a crowd; someone in the crowd might ask Hillary a question only Rush or Sean Hannity would ask lol.

Trump could pick up on the issue and hammer Hillary with it. He'll have his opportunities, it'll be interesting to see if he can take advantage of them.

Private conversation. He apologized for it. What does this have to do with anything?

Let's ruin the country and elect a sociopathic corrupt liar, because the other guy talked dirty about women in a private bus, 10 years ago. Fucking morons, all of you.

You deserve the demise that will be Hilldowg. FUck all of you.

There's no good way to play it if Trump keeps bringing it up. Unfortunately it's one of those salacious surface issues that really have no meaning
( 12 year old locker room talk) in the real world -but real world issues get buried underneath it.

This campaign has been all about Trump's words -and not Clinton's deeds.
The media of course only amplify the words, and do not reflect her deeds.

I haven't seen any 1 attempt for ex. to put the complex email story into a timeline.
Instead all these fragments are out there, and they are "clutter" because Americans never take the time to think politics thru.

We are reactive to so called "shiny objects" -and that is what the Clinton campaign does best -distract from her failings
Yes you are right, all the plebs care about are fat Hispanic arses and pussies.

I agree with you, she will be a disaster.
The email story is "complex" because you have to engage in so much propaganda and bullshitting to make it seem like more than what it is. Like, your uninformed opinion on this subject is somehow supposed to be better than the FBI's (who are not, btw, political appointees, they are civil servants who've likely had their jobs since the Bush era).

Trump boasting about how he could sexually assault a woman and no one would do anything about it isn't complex, it's very simple, it shows him as a horrible person unfit to be president.

Well, talk is talk lol. As far as I know no women have come forth and claimed Trump raped or molested them. Yes, Trump has called one or two of them fat or ugly.

But we both know someone who HAS had women come out with that and his wife went to great lengths to defend him and/or destroy the women accusers.

Sometimes hypocrisy can be disgusting.

Actually Trump has a couple of lawsuits now by two women who accused him of rape when they were underage teens.

Any "apology" that includes this phrase... is not an apology "This is nothing more than a distraction".

"Twelve-year old locker room talk" is supposed to be disregarded but one 20-year old word "superpredator" is brought up endlessly by cons.

Here's one timeline I found: https://sharylattkisson.com/hillary-clintons-email-the-definitive-timeline/

ridiculous. It's manifest she set up the server to avoid FOIA requests.
That in itself is a violation of the Records Act.
The last WIKI release showed she consciously used her Blackberry on Mahogany Row as well as overseas -and she admits she knew it was an insecure device/

If you wanna stick your head in the sand -fine by be -but at least go back and read Comey's summary ( and testimony before Congress)
showing her gross negligence ( extreme carelessness) before you blow it off as some partisan witch hunt.
You don't need my opinion if you bother with facts..but you choose ignorance

superpredator was brought up by libs too . It's a word, and I don't disagree wit it -but it's much ado about little

Thanks for the timeline. It doesn't really get into the blow by blow lies and distortions,or the contents of the Emails -but it's a decent outline at least.

He doesn't understand issues. Here's Trump on one issue: "I know more about ISIS than the generals do, believe me."

Bet all the generals struggling with ISIS over the years just loved that comment.

Another one at the AIPAC conference re: the Iran nuclear deal:

"I’ve studied this issue in great detail, I would say actually greater by far than anybody else."

He was laughed at by the audience on that comment.

Everything Trump claims he does or knows, he uses a superlative to describe it. How is it possible he didn't rule the world long before this? :D
