There are very intelligent and educated people who believe in God.


There is a part of the brain that contains these emotions

Some people are wired towards it.


It may be evolution is causing that part of the brain to alter now that man kind no longer flourishes with that wiring.

There was a time that believing in a higfher power and an after world helped humans survive

The main thing I consider about people's beliefs or non-beliefs is how they use those beliefs in their daily interactions, and whether or not they want to impose personal beliefs on others.

It's my gripe about religious fundamentalists. They can't stop trying to shove their creed on everyone else.

I don't care what you believe just don't organize ( ruins real beliefs) and help me help people and don't harm others.

By explaining how they have different standards, subjective standards, was being ethnocentric? Poor thing, youre all upset over the 'small and unimportant' part, not my comparison of it to other (non-specific) entities.
