The air force was destroyed, pretty much, but Iran, unlike the USA has moved into the modern age of drone warfare. They have replaced expensive equipment with drones.

MAGA morons are living in the 20th century, and measuring progress in Trump's War based on body counts and ships sunk.

Iran has been preparing for a hybrid, asymmetric war for years, and they are going to use economic warfare, cheap drones, and cyber warfare to pursue their goals.

Victory is not determined or acquired by body counts or enemy aircraft destroyed. Otherwise we would have been the victors in Vietnam.

This is the 21st century era of hybrid asymmetric warfare.

Agreed.

Worse, Trump is depleting our munition stocks, which will not only require billions more of national debt, but weaken us in a confrontation with other hostile nations.

All the MAGA morons see are dead Muslims and their Orange Messiah declaring victory.
 
There a couple possibility that I can think of for Crazy Trump to invade Iran:

A. He needs a victory to spiff-up his sagging approval rating; Venezuela was an easy take over and he expected the same., and also he's talking about invading Cuba.

B. He's responding to flattery from Netanyahu; Narcissistic Crazy Trump is well known to be responsive to flattery.
