Devout CATHOLICS Bishop Biden & Pope Pelosi - have Dem voters found religion?

Obviously, social democrat (whatever that means) only works in all white aryan nations.

Immigration laws do not conflict with Christianity.

Christ attacked the money changers in the temple without even having been physically provoked.

According to Christianity, race doesn't matter. So Christians should believe that Social Democracy would work in America.

According to Christianity, we're supposed to accept all foreigners. So laws limiting immigration at all do contradict the religion.

All that proves is that Jesus couldn't live up to his own rules. His orders are still to turn the other cheek when attacked.

Those all white aryan nations you worship are capitalist.

What bible quote says Christians are supposed to disobey immigration laws?

No, it proves you are misinterpreting the "turn the other cheek" story.

Semantics. The point is they're welfare states. Conservatives oppose welfare policies, which goes against Christianity.

It doesn't say to disobey immigrant laws, it says to accept all immigrants. If Conservatives were really following the Bible, they would oppose strict border laws. When Conservatives say we should have merit-based immigration laws, they're going against Christianity.

"You have heard that it was said, 'an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also."
Pretty clear.

Capitalism lets people go poor as opposed to helping them.

Border control prevents immigrants from entering the country.

Owning a gun for self-defense goes against turning the other cheek.

Who do you see handing out food and helping the poor? I see no Christian haters doing anything but waiting in line for free food in Church parking lots.

As it should, border patrol prevents illegals from entering our country. They should be encouraged, not criticized.

Exodus 22:2 "If the thief is found breaking in, and he is struck so that he dies, there shall be no guilt for his bloodshed."
Owning a gun today is about the same as owning a sword in those days. If you injure me or my family, I won't be "turning the other cheek." Count on it.

I don't know how many "Christian haters" are doing charity work, but either way, this is #whataboutism.

I agree. Of course, I'm not Christian. The Christian view is to allow in anyone who wants to come in.

Exodus is from the Old Testament. Like any religion, there are huge contradictions in Christianity. Generally speaking, Christians are supposed to follow the New Testament, especially when they have to choose between the two Testaments due to a contradiction.
I don't believe in turning the other cheek either. But, again, I'm not Christian.

No, it's not. You're the one who condemned capitalism. The U.S. has a "welfare state", too.

So you don't have a bible quote. BTW, we do have asylum laws.

So if a woman gets raped, she's supposed to say rape me again. You are nutz if you think that's what the story means.

Uh, no. It isn't. You have deflected away from answering my question. What have you done to help?

No, it is not. Nowhere does it say in the Bible one should allow an intruder into his home. Illegal aliens are intruding into our home. They should be removed. Period. They deserve NOTHING this country has to offer.

I will agree there are some contradictions. What makes you, a non-believer, think the New Testament should take preference over the Old?

It's semantics because we both know what I mean by Social Democracy. Conservatives are against having a welfare state, which means they're against Christianity. Call it Social Democracy, Nordic Capitalism, whatever. The point is that Conservatives are against things like universal healthcare.

We do have asylum laws, but we don't take in all immigrants, and Conservatives want to restrict the laws we have. Whenever Conservatives talk about "merit-based immigration," they're saying we shouldn't be accepting and helping all immigrants.

What can I say? Christianity is stupid. Because yes, that is what the story says.
Don't get me wrong, there's never been a Christian society dumb enough to encourage that behavior. Which just means that even Christians know how stupid Christianity is.

We're not talking about me, we're talking about how Conservatives are able to justify calling themselves Christian while fighting against policies that help the poor. If you're ready to admit these Conservatives are hypocrites, then we can talk about me.

Sure, but in a true Christian society, we'd accept anyone who wants to come to this country. We wouldn't have "merit-based immigration" like Conservatives want, because then we'd be turning away foreigners who want help.

I don't think it should. I don't think either Testament should be taken seriously. However, when Christians have to choose between Testaments due to a contradiction, they generally side with the New Testament. Unless, of course, when it comes to politics.

Are you suggesting that Christians are less charitable than others? Who serves free meals on holidays? I surely don't see where the American Atheists have donated a penny to help fight this China virus.

Why should we open our borders? To overpopulate and deplete all of our resources thus turning us into a poverty gripped third world shithole? Is that what you want? Do you want to live next door to someone who is living on social programs paid for by your tax dollars and can't even speak our language? Preventing this is why we have legal means of entry into our country. Our borders must be protected.

What makes you think you know what Christians choose due to a contradiction? You just said you don't think either Testament should be taken seriously, why would your opinion be relevant?
As for politics, we differ in some areas, but tend to vote for the candidate who supports the most of them. There are trade-offs, as there are with any candidate, we must accept that and strive for what's best for our country.

No, I'm saying that Conservatives are against welfare policies that help the poor, which is contrary to Christianity.

No, I don't want open borders, but I'm not a Christian. According to Christianity, we're supposed to have open borders.

It's not an opinion that Christians generally side with the New Testament, it's fact. And either way, Jesus himself is saying if someone attacks you, that you should turn the other cheek. Shouldn't that override anything in the Old Testament?
So how come you don't support the candidates that want more welfare and open borders? Someone like Bernie Sanders has policies much more similar to Christianity than any Republican.

No, we don't both know what you mean. :palm: Libtards have no logic. And their definition of socialism is a moving target. You believe doctors, nurses, medical searchers, etc. ... should work for free. :palm:

Still no Bible quote worth posting on here. I don't chase red herring links. Yes, we have asylum seeker laws for foreigners.

Unlike Islam or Judaism, ... Christianity was not designed to be an Earthly government.

Being 'without sin" is an unachievable aspiration ... except for Pope Pelosi and bishop Biden. Which is the whole point of this thread. :palm:

Conservatives are against welfare policies such as universal healthcare. That runs contrary to Christianity.

I posted a link with over 20 quotes from the Bible about immigration. It's clear that Christians are supposed to welcome all foreigners, not have "merit-based immigration."

I already said that Christian Liberals are hypocrites too. What you're doing is saying "but they do it too!" That's a pathetic argument.

individuals can welcome as they please -the US government isn't bound by any bible

Indeed.

Arrest and deport.

It is the LAW.

Government is not bound by religion or the Bible, Pebble by Pebble.

You would have a stroke if they were.

The Bible does not address illegal foreigners but it does say to obey man’s laws.

You are dead wrong on all points.

Christians do not believe charity is something you are forced to do at the point of a gun or threat of imprisonment, ... like the typical greedy libtard believes.

They don't believe individuals should be forced to give to charity. However, they do believe in using taxes to improve society. So the Christian thing to do with that money would be to help the poor, not build a wall to keep our foreigners.
