DeSantis won 14 percent of black voters and 44 percent of Hispanic voters in Florida

Harris - make America a 3rd world shithole
" ... CNN exit polls showed DeSantis won 60 percent of the white vote, down from the 64 percent Trump received in 2016, and down 9 percentage points among white women. DeSantis made up from his loss with white voters by spiking his numbers with minorities. DeSantis won 14 percent of black voters and 44 percent of Hispanic voters.

This is a drastic improvement from Trump’s results in 2016 and outgoing Gov. Rick Scott’s results in 2014. DeSantis nearly doubled Trump’s results among black voters and improved among Hispanics by 9 points. ... "

See there. I told you someone was changing minority people's votes from Democrat to Republican after they voted Democrat.

I tried to warn you it was a rigged election.

Yes, if the Reich can monkey around and appeal to 14% of black folk they may not have to murder as many while unarmed in the streets and voter suppression efforts may be able to be relaxed, just a bit mind you.

Wow ... an entire 14% of Black and lest than half of Hispanics .... in FLORIDA

BTW, you better watch it, calling Cubans Hispanic ;)

In a close race it matters. And DiSantos ran on school choice which is what's credited for getting him those votes. So for all the discussion of the changing demographics policy still matters.

Well, it’s a CNN poll so they can’t object to that lol.

I’d say it’s partly a narrative fail [Trump is a white suprmacist]; and partly due to minority voters coming around on the economy.

Interesting and not totally surprising numbers.

I agree ... https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/26/magazine/ex-felons-voting-rights-florida.html

Kiss those Gerrymander and Suppression tactics good-by ... and close races.

;)

The new 3 million Puerto Ricans moving to FL were supposed to swing these elections and clearly that didn't happen. If your electoral success depends upon getting ex-felons to the ballot box I'd say you're running a risky campaign.

Edit: It's pretty difficult to gerrymander a statewide election

"School choice" and race, yeah, the world bore witness. Your policy is race.

It's striking, given that Gillum is a Black man (and very charismatic).

Thanks, there's so much Democrat racism it's tough to keep up with it all.

Excellent, bigdog.

Now the struggle, to get votes for Dems or increase them for Pubs among the minorities, will be an important vote in the FL congressional races in 2020.

My hairdresser is Dominican, I was talking to her in her shop with a bunch of PR's and none of them wanted Gillum
