Denver Walmart last week, Texas Church this week,

Honestly, I don't own a gun, and I'm not against ever owning a gun if I feel the need arises, so I'm not gonna try and act like I know exactly what would help stop stuff like this from happening re: gun control, but I think the "nothing can be done" attitude is defeatist.

I would ask all gun owners here if they thought there were ANYTHING that could be done. I'm not even talking about laws necessarily.

I will bring up the obvious. Background checks that have to include some sort of psychological profiling. Plenty of occupations demand that type of scrutiny. It will not stop every nut from getting a gun legally but I bet it will reduce the number that have them considerably. That certainly does not address getting weapons illegally though.

I know the typical response to such an idea, what if the government decided that everyone has some sort of mental disorder then someone that needs a gun for protection can't get it? I myself am not a doom and gloom slippery sloper so I kind of agree with you.

And as far as getting a gun illegally, the harder something is to obtain legally (through laws or just scarcity), the harder it is to obtain illegally as well. If something gets outlawed and becomes incredibly rare, the black market value would increase to the point of becoming prohibitively expensive, though admittedly still not impossible.

I said it before, you have a great deal of common sense. Refreshing!

Is that supposed to mean something? Kind of hard to tell through all that lisping. You never answered my question Jethro.

It means you're a sick fuck who uses dead children to push your anti-Constitutional agenda.

What do you, personally, think you could have done with a gun in that situation other than more than likely shoot some innocent bystander. Take me through your steps there Rambo.

The slaughter was stopped by a law abiding armed citizen you stolen valor faggot.

At least you admit that what you want is the outlawing of guns, too bad for you the Constitution is there to stop fascist little pigs like you.

Not at all. I just want mentally unstable people like you not to own them. You should be thanking folk like me for saving your life.

^Friggin fruit loop. Has lost it because he was reminded of his pure cowardice when facing peaceful protesting liberals.
