Dems hit another one outta the park, Medicare For All discussion has arrived

An idea whose time has come. It won't pass this time, of course, even if Toadstool didn't veto it. But.... there it is, and look just ahead.... there's 2020.

The Dems know whatever bill they pass won't go anywhere, but it'll bring Medicare for all into the national discussion, first step

Cut the bull shit, or are you just too lazy to look up a fact?

Oh I know the facts. Debt was 10 trillion when Obama took office and 19 trillion when he left office 8 years later. I know higher math but even you should understand 19-10= 9. So sorry.

Actually Democrats like John Kerry and Hillary Clinton who VOTED for the war and whom Cypress voted for President. Socialized medicine will not work in this country but hey just shout “Iraq War”

They treat medicine as if it were an unlimited resource.

Access to the system will be limited by the market—or government bureaucrats. People are going to be left out either way.

It will suck to be elderly if they go that route.

I've been telling anyone who I get in conversations about this, IT IS INEVITABLE. Let's get it DONE! And quit fucking around! It is going to happen. The sooner, the better.

Once again your numbers are a lie

Once again you prove you are full of shit and can't accept the truth.

Exactly. Polling has consistently indicated that the majority of citizens favor a national health care plan. Even with two years of a majority in both houses and the WH, (R)s were loathe to scrap Obamacare because of its popularity. Let's fix that flawed plan and make it good for everyone.

I have no problem with universal health care as soon as one of you advocates come up with a workable plan to pay for it without bankrupting the country.

There are plenty of ways to do this, as dozens of other civilized nations have shown.... for decades. The problem is the rubes have bought into the whole "it will bankrupt the country" screams from the right.

Hold on - I want to be reasonably assured that it will work as well as American healthcare does now.

Shitty service provided by an expensive and unaccountable bureaucracy has been the norm for government so far. What makes anyone think healthcare would be any better?
