Democratic strategist James Carville upset about oil spill; White House pushes back

Damo, just so's you know, your "14 days" characterization is meaningless without any links.

What...did Jennings make that comment after 14 days? I'm pretty sure I can find a comment about Obama 14 days into BP, as well.

A comment does not = "bad Bush" every day. What a strange characterization of that event.

Again, I thank you. Your links helped to prove my point, I am glad your interest in becoming an apologist for the media led you to do that.

And again I will underline the massive difference in the fact that 40 days after an Administration takes office, their appointees still haven't even gotten close to being approved by Congress....

I'm fascinated by how different people "remember" things.

What a Peckerhead...you gotta be shittin' me...

The first link:
The very first sentence is bashing Bush and then it goes on to show Obama blaming Bush....
Obamas getting beat up with a wet noodle and powder puff....

Do we have to go back to the Bush days to show you what you should already be familiar with, that is, the gross disrespect, the lies, the jokes, heaped on Bush by hundreds of news casts (MSNBC, CNN), comedians (Leno, Letterman, Stewart), politicians (all Democrats in Congress),entertainers like the Dixie Chicks and braindead druggie rockers, etc... get a clue....and it even continues today after hes gone for a year and half.

Oh yeah, bravo; when I think about criticism of Obama since he was inaugurated, "respectful" comes immediately to mind...

LOL!

Great find. I was wondering where he was getting all of these specific facts like "14 days," without linking up.

And think about it, the few critical pieces are the best the Glenn Beck and his team of researchers at FOXNews could come up with. If there were others, we'd surely be hearing all about it. Yet, Damo wants to pretend that Bush was castigated by anyone and everyone (and that Damo "remembers" it). Obviously, it's just not true.

I find that fascinating as well, Damo.

Did you know that some people substitute bogus talking points from Glenn Beck for "memory"?
I know that some people think that concurrent memories is the same thing as following some other thing blindly.

Do not worry, soon somebody like Rush will come up with a compilation for you to ignore because it doesn't mesh with your conveniently Bush-Free memory of the Exxon oil spill. (In fact I saw the Jennings thing about two weeks ago during a show (maybe Stossel? Not sure...) as well as other portions during editorials. It is video though, so it will be fun to watch once it is made.

This is a standard example of an attempt to attack the messenger rather than the message, usually it is preceded by somebody saying "racist" or "hack" often, then it is followed by Ariana worshipers attempting to deny reality. This usually comes from people who can't even consider that 40 days into a Presidency may be a huge margin different than 1.5 years.

"Concurrent memories?" That's the lame response to one of the biggest board embarassments in recent memory?

This was a good thread.

Damo - in retrospect, now that I have seen your "source," the only thing you have been the messenger of on this thread is Glenn Beck & his bogus & fairly scattered talking points.

I'm truly embarassed for you; looking at that link, that is basically where every one of your 'facts' and 'recollections' came from.

It's extremely funny, as are your weak attempts to distract...

Translation:

I am desperate to ignore this, and will find any excuse. My preferred method of ignoring information that I do not like is attacking the source.

LOL

Ignore what?

I'm happy to continue discussing this "issue," and to address all of the great "points" you have brought up about the coverage of the Exxon Valdez spill.

Glenn Beck...of all the commentators & pundits out there; it really couldn't be better...

Was GHWB in Alaska checking out the effects of the Valdez disaster back in 1989? Oops, nope, he never visited the site.

Where were you in March 1989 after the Valdez disaster? Criticizing GHW Bush like the rest of America, I presume ... NOT.

Where was that biased MSM when Bush was busy hiding his financial ties to the industry after the Valdez spill?

"President Bush is apparently aware that mass media exposure of his tank-barge investment could be politically embarrassing. On April 10, 1989, a little more than two weeks after the supertanker Exxon Valdez gushed oil onto hundreds of square miles of Alaska's Prince William Sound, Bush put his partnership interest into a qualified blind trust. This means it will not appear on his future financial disclosure statements. Nonetheless, thanks to the exhaustive investigation by Common Cause Magazine, it already is on the record and now deserves mass media attention."

Please continue using the double standard when bloviating about Obama's response to the BP mess. Such hackery is expected from you. :pke:

lmao....you have to go back to bush 1...fuck, i was still in junior high, not on message boards you hack

don't forget the uber anti environmentalist GEORGE washington who cut the fucking cherry tree down...how can you be talking about obama and the oil spill and not mention the cherry tree...

damo, you're a hack!!!!!@!@!@

Carville is an lsu grad and considered a top democrat strategist nation wide. Senator Mary landrue is saying the same thing as carville.

it doesn't matter to hacks like onceler...you mention dems and all he does is attack ice dancer and myself as bitching about obama

LOL - surprised you had the shamelessness to come back here today.

Got that quote I made about SF yet?

And I said that Carville's comments were worthless. What more do you want? I could care less about Carville. He's a nut.

yeah....ONLY after you couldn't discredit his opinion...first - you attacked ice dancer and myself as the "only" hacks criticizing obama...then, when i repeatedly threw carville in your face and asked why you weren't man enough to discredit what he says, magically carville doesn't matter

your stupidity in this "quote" about SF is humorous and shows what an intellectually dishonest moron you are....i ask for a link to back up YOUR claim and you give me a whole thread...then, when i call bullshit, you demand i give a link about your claim that you already gave a bullshit link on

lmao...try not to be such an obvious hypocrite, like i said, when you provide a quote/link, i will reciprocate, until then, pound sand

If Damo would just be honest for once and admit that he's a shill for Beck, then I could at LEAST respect him for his honesty...

Yep. And...once again, real slowly for you...MY claim was that there was a debate on seepage, and that it looks stupid now. The link I provided was the debate on seepage.

Then, you went on to say that I needed to back up what I specifically said about SF, and implied that I was mischaracterizing what SF said. Now, the problem with that is that I never said anything about SF, or what SF said.

So, once again - what phantom claim are you referring to? What claim do you need backup on?

Please specify (hint: you can't, because you were wrong, and I think you know that now).
