Again, removing the roadblocks which prevent ANY drilling, is not advocating irresponsible drilling or willy nilly drilling. "Just get started" isn't some secret code phrase, it simply means what it says, and again, doesn't indicate a passion for willy nilly drilling, just SOME drilling, like in the remote ANWR, where it can be done responsibly and safely. You seem to be proving my point that it is YOU who are making inferences which don't exist and haven't been articulated by anyone on the right... unless of course, we have your secret liberal decoder ring and can parse out the codes!
When I challenged your anti-oil-drilling position, on the basis of how many jobs would be lost if we cut oil drilling, this is what you said:
"I dont belive in the Government saving outdated and unnecessary industries for the mere sake of preventing people from losing jobs."
Notice I don't need a decoder ring, I can determine exactly what you meant by what you said, it's right there in black and white for everyone to read. But now you are claiming you said something else... that you advocate us making oil obsolete... well, I agree with you there, I would love to do that... but we can't just snap our fingers and make that be the case. Our economy, in fact, our entire civilization, is dependent on oil. We have to start from that point of reality, not the imaginary concept that oil in unneeded and unnecessary.
I will challenge you again to present some evidence that ANYONE on the right has advocated "irresponsible" or "willy nilly" drilling? Just show us some examples of this, or.... keep pretending that something else is being secretly said, and only you can decipher it with your special liberal decoder ring!
