It Nancy had the evidence she would call for a vote. For myself [maybe I’m not alone, idk] my only problem with Biden’s quid pro quo would be if he wanted the prosecutor off the case to *cover up* corruption. If it was done for legitimate reasons—it wouldn’t be illegal, because that’s simply placing stipulations on a handout. Even our own citizens are required to meet certain requirements before they get a government handout.
Maybe someone can explain to me why foreign leaders should be treated any differently.
ASSUMING Trump was withholding aid to *investigate* corruption I don’t see a problem with it. I just cited an article from Politico that tells of democrats going to Ukraine for campaign dirt on Trump. Trump was apparently aware of that and asked his counterpart to investigate it.
Why is that such a big deal? Election meddling by foreigners is a big deal, right?
The Biden’s were mixed up with the Ukraine and that is beyond dispute. The only question is whether it was legal or not. Some say the matter is settled but they never go beyond ‘it’s been investigated’. That may be so, but can we see the pertinent facts, finally?
That’s basically all Trump was asking for in his ‘favor’. This is a bigger Nothing Burger than the Russian fiasco.
