Currently the U.S. is the top oil producer in the world.

"There had been little interest in the leases, at least publicly, from major oil companies, given the high cost of producing oil in the Arctic, the growing desire to reduce fossil fuel use, and the reputational risks of drilling in such a pristine area. After pressure from environmental organizations and Native groups, major banks had pledged not to finance any drilling efforts in the refuge.

The apparent lack of interest was borne out in the sale. Only two small companies made bids to acquire 10-year rights to explore and drill for oil on two tracts totaling about 75,000 acres."

Oil companies have been threatened successfully by non governmental forces.

The dirty secret is that the plan to transition to so-called green energy is a complete fantasy. Not understanding that it is a fantasy will cripple America.

Buckle Up!

Experts all over the place are warning that globally we have fucked ourselves on energy....by assuming that the transition to so-called green energy can be done now and done rapidly to "save the planet" and so there-for we are not making needed investments into so-called carbon energy. This is shaping up to be one of the great human blunders.

However it is important to note that the China has already said that the glory of the Empire will not be allowed to suffer for lack of energy, they are going their own way.

okay I had 17 quotes and could only read ten......if it was anyone besides FF my apologies......if it was FF I don't really give a fuck.....

Joe Pags was just saying it's DRILLING PERMITS that are the hold up.

biden stopped giving drilling permits.
:dunno:

what a fuckhole.

Never expect a dumb fuck progressive to understand that basic premise.

and then when they get a little smarter, then they switch to evil and still do the same destructive thing.

Yes, and how many times can a man turn his head
And pretend that he just doesn't see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind
Yes, and how many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
And how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, and how many deaths will it take 'til he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind
The answer is blowin' in the wind

What good is more production if we dont have the capacity to refine it. Secondly, maybe you can explain why big oil companies are exporting our oil to other countries, when keeping it here would greatly lower retail prices.

There are ways to refine it but it's up to the powers of the U.S. to decide if that is the proper thing to do for now.
