Crowds flock to reopened Jacksonville beaches as Florida hits record coronavirus case

The Elephant in this picture is, according to your definition, a leader, because there is a follower (obviously a Trump supporter).

Yeah, there are fuck-heads "following" Trump and picking up his shit...but that does not make him a leader.

So you think the people that voted for Trump collectively pick up his shit? You only need one two people tops for that. Nobody would know what to do with 29 million.

I'll leave you to debate semantics. Which one are you? Apologist? Groupee? Cultist?
I wonder if aquarium fish ever look outside the tank and think they have a terrarium full of apes. No the fish you're too stupid to know they're in a tank. The magical hand feeds them and the magical scoops up their shit. Boy that's a really good metaphor.
The fact remains that #COVID45 has little to no clue how to actually BE a leader. He merely plays one on TV, like he did as a typical TV game show host.
Maybe the Democrats should quit running reanimated corpses and colors with human shapes, or vaginas with blowup grannies connected to them.

if those retards would get their act together and quit being a circular firing squad they might actually have a chance.

Fair enough, point is they follow.

Most national leaders have followers. Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump. Tell me how any die-hard fan of one of the other Presidents is different than the groupies following Trump? If anything has changed it's that US politics have become very extreme and those "followers" have also become extreme. When have we ever seen a Presidential election where one nominee tells his audience to commit violence against opposing Americans? Where have we seen a Presidential election were one nominee tells his audience he will mandate confiscation of firearms from innocent, law-biding Americans?

We live in interesting times and I'm enjoying the show. :)

Will this sort of fan culture that sprouted up around Trump is relatively new and then the anti culture is new though they did exist for Obama it just wasn't front-and-center like it is now. But prior to this people were more sane it seems like.

Now I voted for Trump but that was more to keep Hillary out of office. I'll probably vote for him again to keep whoever Biden choose as his running mate out of the office. That's normally how I vote in elections.

I think the two extremes are really just feeding off of each other.

Agreed about the extremes feeding off of each other.

Maybe this is happened previously I don't know I'm a younger guy. I remember first election I voted in was George Bush and Al Gore. I remember leading up to that election celebrities and stuff for crying about if George Bush got elected they'd leave the country people talking s*** on him of course this is after 30 days of digging around with the election in Florida

But we didn't have brats dropping themselves down in the street it'll literally throwing baby fits. That did start before Trump I remember seeing the feminist lunatics screaming and raving about the right to have an abortion, but they were kind of sparse. Often only ever in small groups with 1 Titanic loudmouth.

I don't know maybe it's because the millennials have grown up physically just not mentally.

That silly shit was a new one, but it's beginnings go back to 1992 and the Clinton campaign. I'm not blaming just the Clintons here. While I liked Ronald Reagan a lot and think he was the best President in 50 years, when he cut a deal with Jerry Falwell, it was the beginning of the end of the GOP. Now the GOP is dead and we only have the Republican Party...which now is the Party of Trump.

I noticed you sig and all I've read about Berry Goldwater, I liked. So that's what I think of Republicans.

I don't think we really had two Republicans in my lifetime we just had Democrats that borrowed and Democrats that taxed.

I liked Goldwater too. Sadly, all of the Republicans who followed Goldwater have either been labeled RINOs and driven from the party or have drunk the Kool-Aid, clicked their heels together and joined the Party of Trump.

Agreed. Today's Republicans, the ones blowing up the deficit and printing money, are just Democrats with red ties and a different agenda to spend our tax dollars.

Let's just keep watching the numbers in Jacksonville to see how this works out for them.

Positive Residents
916
Hospitalizations
84
Deaths
17
Positive Non-Residents
21

Florida Department of Health

(Click 'Cases By County,' then scroll down and click 'Duval County.')

Looks like Jacksonville has 937 Active Cases

There were 24 New Cases yesterday.

Nations can not be shut down due to disease. 26 million people can not be held hostage by
death from poverty, bankruptcy, depression and suicide because a minority of the population
has a disease...any disease...especially a virus which will indeed pass as we know from history.
Give special attention to those who are elderly and have contributing illnesses, take common
sense precautions and get on with life.

There are "NUMBERS" every year of disease and death.

Rock'N'Roll! The nation isn't shut down. Trump claimed he had the power then refused to use it. States can do what they like as long as it follows the US Constitution and their state constitutions. Any that don't should face court.

I fail to see the panic and hair-pulling here.

The end of May should be illuminating.

The left is apoplectic about it.

Guess you haven't heard the constant screams and groans from the left that the whole country has to shut down.

Just the Left Wing Loonies. Like the Right Wing Nut Jobs, the only time I pay attention to them is when I'm in the mood to poke fun.
