Why would anyone want China to be a democracy. All the communist party cares about is political stability and economic growth. If China were a democracy then the government would have to deliver what the people want and the people want Taiwan. A democratic China is very dangerous to America because it would be far more nationlistic and far less pragmatic as the communist rule is today. Better the devil we know.
