PostmodernProphet
fully immersed in faith..
No, you gave me a confused answer.
lol.....I gave you an answer that would have given me a passing grade in any graduate level class on exegesis.....I suspect the problem is with a confused reader.....

actually, I would say I study it.....to determine what it actually is saying......if by ignoring your incorrect and unstudied conclusions about what it says in favor of an educated understanding you mean "cherry pick" then I guess I will have to concede.....
I have no idea....since the Bible doesn't state how long ago I could only give you a number by making one up......and its hardly a "fundamental" point....my Bible is close to an inch and a half thick and only two pages are devoted to Noah.....
further, I have never demanded you prove anything that happened 4 billion years ago.....I merely want you to realize you can't, and that what you believe about it is no less a faith choice than those made by anyone else.....
uh, you made it up?......

I have read exegesis on various verses/chapters of the Bible and your answer was not, from my reading, worthy of a passing grade level for a graduate level class on exegesis.
So, the ages of the patriarchs and the genealogies of the Bible are not factual, not literal, but figurative?
The Bible states that Noah was 500 years old when his son Japheth was born, is this to be interpreted as fact? Or is it figurative.
You pervert and twist its words to make it say what you want the same as you do everywhere else. Indicate means proves, macroevolution does not include evolution above species, etc. There is a pattern you have established and it is not poetic it's lying.

you lie about what science can prove regarding evolution.....
and to you, not possible means possible, evolution means humans have moldy ancestors, and there is scientific proof for all your wildest fantasies which you will someday provide once its found.....
you keep claiming that but you never seem to remember which pocket you left that proof in.......common descent are proven facts
vague bullshit.
You claim this event preserved life and started the repopulation of the world.
you keep claiming that but you never seem to remember which pocket you left that proof in.......
You won't give an answer on the age of the flood event because it weakens your argument.
I know where it is. I have provided plenty of specifics
Does evolution explain diversity beyond kinds, e.g., amongst carnivora?
