Court issues injunction preventing Hegseth from demoting Senator Kelly

Not true. The courts, particularly the District Courts have a number of judges seated that will oppose virtually anything Trump and his administration does simply because of their political bias and POV. They'll find some convoluted citation of law, twist it into a pretzel, and claim Trump can't do whatever it is he's doing.

So far, that's seen the District Courts lose nearly all of their power to issue an nationwide, even region-wide, injunction on anything. It's seen judges overturned repeatedly at the appellate level. Even the more Left leaning justices at the Supreme Court have sided against the District Courts more than once because the latter's rulings have become so egregious.
T. A....take another look at the title of this thread.

It speaks of a particular court issuing a particular injunction preventing the moron, Pete Hegseth, from demoting Senator Mark Kelly.

You wrote a comment that said, "So, now judges run the military too, hum?" To which I responded, "I think the court in question here is just asking for sanity in government.

To which YOU are now replying, "Not true. The courts, particularly the District Courts have a number of judges blah, blah, blah.

Jesus H. Christ, man, get your train back on its tracks. I was not talking about the courts in general...I was talking about THAT PARTICUAR COURT and THAT PARTICULAR ruling. I understand (I truly understand) your compulsion to kiss Trump's ass at every available instance, but why not try to make it look sorta reasonable?

How can what I identified as my opinion...my considerations...about what THIS COURT seems to be doing...BE WRONG? I know what my opinion is...and even if you disagree with my opinion, you cannot claim that my opinion is not my opinion.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Nope. All Kelly and the 5 other lawmaker/intelligence folks were doing were quoting the UCMJ.

I love it you "free speech absolutists" all crumble like little bitches whenever anyone makes you look like the goons you are.
Sybil wouldn't know about the UCMJ since he never served and, like all MAGA cray-crays, only sees what is fed to him out of Trump's nether regions.

While I disagree with demoting Kelly for his idiocy, I think the public smackdown he got for participating in that moronic commercial--due no doubt in good part to his being a good party hack--was sufficient. He's unlikely to do that again.

I just hope that whoever runs against him in the next election isn't some 'tard like What's-her-name. I won't vote for Kelly because he is exactly the party hack I describe--that is, he votes with the Democrats almost exclusively because that's a lifetime of being a an uninteresting, do it by the book, officer of no particular distinction in the military.

But a Kari Lake or some other tard running against him makes it super hard to vote for anyone in those cases. It comes down to a protest vote more than wanting to actually vote for one of the candidates and that really sucks when you think about it.
I'd expect a Navy Chief to know better, Terry, but understand you are not the same man who retired a few years ago since you regularly support those who seek to overthrow our Republic and shred our Constitution. Sad.

Unlike you and your Orange Jesus, I abide by my oath and so did Captain Kelly.

Does it not amaze you how all these "free speech absolutists" wilt like little flowers at anything that criticizes their king?
Yes but since they all support the violent overthrow of our Republic, the shredding of our Constitution and the seating of a single, all-powerful ruler in the White House, their support for Trump makes sense.

It just blows me away how "conservatives" sacrificed all their principles because trump made libs sad. Trying to force networks and colleges to change or stop their content is NOT conservative - tariffs are not "free trade" as are not conservative.

Armies of masked thugs in our streets murdering innocent Americans? They have no moral center.

So, now judges run the military too, hum?

Judges have always been able to issue rulings protecting the rights of citizens, whether they are former service members, elected officials, or private citizens. It's one of the beauties of our country's system of laws. You don't support the 1st Amendment? Why not?

Kegsbreath should have zero to say about Sen. Kelly's status as a former service member who served with honor. He is not active duty. The horrible fascist stuff YOU espouse here is far, far worse than Kelly informing active duty military personnel that they do not have to obey illegal orders from their superiors -- which is part of the military's own code of conduct.

Had the judge ruled the other way, TA would be ecstatic. To a trumptard, "activist judges" are just judges who follow the law.

Doesn't matter. Federal judges shouldn't be involving themselves in military affairs or politics. They should stick to legal matters and ruling as the laws are written.

Retired military in matters that concern the military are still first and foremost something for the military to determine. The federal courts are a last, not first, resort in such matters.
LOL - you're such a goober.

It goes deeper than that even though it's true most JPP MAGAts are simple-minded enough to simply enjoy "sticking it to the Libs".

The deeper problem is a fundamental lack of maturity on the part of MAGA males. Each is a man-child as proved by their character traits displayed on JPP every day. This is the best explanation of why a grown man needs a "daddy" to fix his problems. They lack the will and ability to fix their own lives.

2. He behaves like a frat boy.

3. He always has an excuse.

4. He has constant financial problems.

5. He partakes in the 'toxic trio'.

6. He is unreliable.

7. He can't handle criticism.

8. He does not handle stress well.

9. He freaks out when you talk about milestone events.

10. He does not know how to do age-appropriate tasks.

11. He uses weaponized incompetence.

Supposedly Gardner served. So what's HIS excuse for supporting Kegsbreath's violation of the First Amendment rights of Sen. Kelly who merely repeated what is in that UCMJ regarding unlawful orders?
I believe he served just like I believe that Mattie Dillon once qualified to be in Mensa. What piques my curiosity is their transition from then to now.

Terry is obviously irrational as all political extremists prove to be. Like all extremists, he finds comfort in like-minded souls which is why JPP is full of Alt-Right extremists all parroting the same bullshit coming out of the Trump administration.

On JPP, you can remove the usernames and only look at the posts. For most, it's impossible to tell the difference between them similar to the ending of Animal Farm.

But they had not gone twenty yards when they stopped short. An uproar of voices was coming from the farmhouse. They rushed back and looked through the window again. Yes, a violent quarrel was in progress. There were shoutings, bangings on the table, sharp suspicious glances, furious denials. The source of the trouble appeared to be that Napoleon and Mr. Pilkington had each played an ace of spades simultaneously.

Twelve voices were shouting in anger, and they were all alike. No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
